  1. I'd have to strongly disagree with Brooklyn. With Dwight, I'd say they are better...without Dwight? Don't see it...not yet. Lopez/Humphries/Wallace/Johnson/Williams is not better than Chandler/Stoudemire/Anthony/Brewer/Kidd(orFelton, whatever)... Boston? Maybe. If Avery Bradley comes back and turns out as good as people act like he'll be, I'd have to say you got me there...and with Pierce, Garnett, and Doc's track record, I'll concede that Boston is probably still better despite the loss of Allen (who was looking old, anyway). Indiana might be more consistent...but if we ever played them in a series, I love our chances.
  2. Saw this on Twitter. Since most of you don't like Ross or Drake, thought you'd find it funny to see what Drizzy would look like on Rozay's diet...
  3. thats why you drink the water lol
  4. Based off the East not being great outside of Miami...Boston still may be better. But then who? I like our chances versus Indiana...Dwight is a mystery with Orlando (will he be back?), and the Nets are even more unproven then the Knicks. I'm assuming Stoudemire will be better than last year. He can't be worse, to be honest. If we are healthy, there's no reason the Knicks can't finish 3rd in the East...and honestly, they should...
  5. Some of his music has meaning behind it - most doesn't though. It's a nice change of pace compared to the lyrical guys we mostly listen to. I still think Teflon Don was a damn good album. It's definitely one of my most played on the ipod. to each his own tho
  6. Really man? Damn, I think you guys are really missing out on some incredible production, features, and overall music. I mean, even if you're not a big Ross fan, I thought everyone really respected that album even if it was just from a feature (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, John Legend, Jadakiss, Cee-Lo, Raphael Sadiqq) and production standpoint. Ross is not a great lyricist (although I think he has improved), but his production and features are always incredible IMO. The concept he puts together is tremendous (Sixteen featuring Andre 3000 on God Forgives, I don't is a perfect example IMO)... Just my thoughts though. I guess I can see why people don't like him. To be honest, there was a time I didn't like him either. He has definitely grown on me over the past 3 years though.
  7. why not? how could you not have appreciation for that album? i honestly do not get it. it wasn't the best album over the last 5 years, but it certainly is in my top 10 of hip hop albums the past 5 years.
  8. lol guru so [expletive]ed up but hilarious A lot of water usually works to keep my stomach full lol...but i usually try eating a banana and drink a bottle of water like a half hour before i start playing. usually feel fine then
  9. BOSS. and i put that on my maybach! 400 thou bitch you wished you saved that!
  10. if that's considered bold brotha my expectations are WAY too high. i EXPECT 3rd in the east
  11. HAHAHA...SMH This tracks are damn near the top of the industry right now dawg
  12. it's not kanye's best album IMO. I still rather listen to the college dropout
  13. how did you have low expectations? Teflon Don was one of the best albums of the past five years bruh
  14. Sure, 10 mil per year is overpaid for when it comes to Kirlinko, but if the T-Wolves want to compete, he's not a bad piece with what's still out on the market. And, still, the contract is short. You see how he plays this upcoming season...hell, maybe he plays well? If he does, the T-Wolves could really be a pretty good team even out West. And if he doesn't, they made a mistake, and you shuffle him off the next year.
  15. Don't really see how it's so bad. It's basically for one year, then you can move him as it will be an expiring contract...
  16. oh i absolutely agree with the numbers he did man. you're right. it got very little promotion, and his fans are not the type (annoying 14 yr old bieber/drake/lil wayne fans lmao) who are going to go buy the album.
  17. I wasn't really making it a Nas-Jay thing. You just seemed to act as if Nas was the only one who could ever have a #1 album in three different decades. that's when i pointed out jay that's all lol. i know you got a pretty good ear for music, so i respect your opinion i'll just agree to disagree on the top 5 nas/jay album comment lol
  18. No one is disputing Nas as one of the greatest to ever do it. everyone knows dude is a legend. just personally for me i like and think jay-z is a better overall artist. i think his versatility as an artist is what separates him apart from nas, but that's just my opinion. both have had an incredible run, and like you said, for nas to be as relevant as he is today speaks volume to how good his music is/how respected he is
  19. lol yes and we are missing Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose... Agree for the most part - Davis is definitely an upgrade as a backup to Chandler, and with the five fouls and how inconsistent the calls are, Davis becomes a vital part of this team IMO...
  20. Romo is a good QB. A very good one at that. He's not what is wrong with Dallas. They have other pressing needs...the pressure is definitely mounting on Romo though.
  21. Lmfao. i love the one from David Stern "Next Year"
  22. lol at people thinking 9/11 is some type of conspiracy. man that one always gets me smfh
  23. won't jay do the same if he drop another album? lol 140k not bad first week tho
  24. cool. definitely could use another defender
  25. Why didn't Anthony Davis play more? Or why doesn't he in general? He's definitely a better fit than Kevin Love. He's exactly what the team needs. A long shot blocker off the bench to give guys like the Gasol brothers some problems inside.
