Where'd you get that from ? Just curious because this is per the NYT: "In the spring of 2010, apparently desperate for new conscripts, Mr. Kony’s forces killed hundreds of villagers in the Congolese jungle and kidnapped hundreds more, according to witnesses interviewed at the time."

Yeah and their offense with Stoudemire and Anthony is pure comedy as well Carmelo Anthony is either injured, or he was the most overrated player of all time in Denver...
-
i think they did. he has to be the most uncoordinated mo fo I've seen in the NBA this year
-
he was teh best for that week. the guy was virtually unstoppable in several games. most against bad teams i will admit though like the wiz and his outbreak performance against NJ...part of it was people didn't scout him yet and he was making all his outside shots it's not a matter of who killed it. like BB said it was more of the fact that he wasn't going to keep scoring 30 when teams knew his weaknesses and also when carmelo and amare came back because tehy take like 75% of the shots, which about 74% they [expletive]ing miss
-
Yeah I guess...You know he's going to play hard at least. Who do we go to if he gets in foul trouble, though...Lol
-
me too..trying to do homework but i rather just watch the game lol we are totally screwed though. harrelson our starting center UGH
-
we r screwed ^

Yeah...I'm not donating anything to the guy's site, and I didn't say anything about that, but I think it's great to expose people to things. ECN is fairly knowledgeable when it comes to world events, that I will say, but what he must understand is the ignorance from people, especially in the U.S. so many have no idea this is going on world wide and that with people's support we can make a difference.

I don't see a problem with either. The guy is trying to raise awareness...we need more people who dedicate their time to improving the World. You strike me as the type of person who goes against the mainstream just to garner attention. I will not argue with you because you are a waste of my time. I knew I'd come into this topic, and good 'ole ECN would be at it arguing with everyone about this.

Nah, Stoudemire doesn't ever come up with baskets when the need it. He missed so many key shots when they needed a bucket. I'm not even a STAT hater, he's one of my favorite players, has been for a while. It was 26 garbage points. He still misses too many shots inside and can not seem to hit that jumper. He was far from the main problem, believe me, I don't think that, if he plays like that every night we'd be fine, but he needs to step up on the glass and hit the shots when they can't score. That's what you need from your stars...when your team is in a god damn drought, step up. Dirk did it last night...Knicks went on 15-0 run...Dirk immediately answers hitting big FT's and tough shots. Yeah. Melo was really a joke last night. I still can't believe he was talking to Shawn Marion and threw that inbounds pass directly to a Dallas player.

The video is well made, and I think it's a great cause. Anyone who tries to spread positivity and make a difference in the World gets my support.

U do realize he was the best player in the NBA for about a week, right? He dropped 38 on LA and he had 28/14 on mavs
-
Yeah....well, or you could go the Sacramento Kings route. Management picks players, players pick coach. Smh.

I think coaching in the NBA is overrated to a degree. It's largely about your roster. He doesn't have much to work with, especially with no Brook for most of year and Marshon Brooks in and out, as well. I'm indifferent about Avery Johnson. I don't really know if he's a good or bad coach, but I don't think he's done a terrible job or deserves to be fired.
-
John Wooden could not coach this team to a better record.
-
Arizona makes a lot of sense for Manning. WAS, MIA are possibilities too...but I see him electing to play for Arizona if they are interested.
-
Deron Williams has been nothing short of great this year, especially the past month or so...Idk how anyone could call him out right now Lol
-
What a [expletive]ing joke. This team is brutal to watch when they play like this... It's back to the Pre-Lin days of no ball movement, horrendous shooting from Carmelo Anthony, and Stoudemire making minimal impact. Credit Novak, Shumpert, and Harrellson for very good games and keeping the Knicks in it. I love how Davis and Harrellson come out after the Knicks re-gain the lead...doesn't D'antoni realize that Carmelo could not play tonight?

Lol that pic always has me laughing when people post it

Which player's career was hurt more by injuries?
JYD replied to htownborn's topic in Player Comparisons
I'm gonna say Penny because I think he would've been one of the best of all time (although all could've really). Grant and McDyess went on to have very successful and long careers too, I feel as though Penny did not have as great of an impact that Hill and McDyess have ended up having. -
Tough to win on the road, especially out west even as far out as Dallas. Also, the fact we already beat them, they are going to come extra motivated not to lose again...
-
My list would probably go, in terms of who I'd want, in their prime.... 1. Shaq 2. Olajuwon 3. Ewing 4. Robinson 5. Mourning 6. Mutombo 7. Smiths Howard would probably fall between 4-6. It's tough though, all those guys were so close and so good.
-
There's a few good games tonight, including college. But this is obviously the game I'm looking most forward to... A big one for the Knicks, really need a win with another tough four game stretch going foward (SA, MIL, PHI, CHI)
-
No surprise. Good for both sides, i believe.
