  1. Lol U are a clown if u think Shumpert makes no difference in the game last night, hard to debate if u are not wiling to concede that. Dwill would've been slowed up. A guy like Shumpert can take a star player like Williams out of his rhythm. Instead of getting 40, I think he would've went for 20-25ish. Williams is still going to get his points, especially shooting like that, but Williams had like 2-3 4 point plays, didn't he? Lol. Just horrible defense combined with great shooting. Nets got more calls, especially at key points in the game I thought, but the game was officiated terribly from the beginning for both sides...Some of the fouls on Williams were horrible calls....(which is also what I said last night and maintain that now)... Well said. Agree with most of this. I think we still lose even with Shumpert, but our defense would've been much better. Offensively, we still probably struggle, but Shumpert has the ability to get hot in the 4th qtr of games, so he would've been a help in that game on the offensive end possibly, too.
  2. Yeah...NO Shump.....I mean, Williams was hitting those 3's, and his teammates started joining in. The 3 ball is really what killed the Knicks. The Nets didn't get too much around the basket. The Knicks were so late getting out to contest...and no Chandler for the majority of the game was a killer. It was a rough one to watch, I'm still not sold yet on the "Carmelo can't play w/ Lin" thing though...
  3. Welcome to the club. I can't wait til March to go back to work.
  4. Good article, I still think they'll be able to mesh OK together. Carmelo was really bad last night; but I did not think it was because he couldn't coexist with Lin...
  5. Battling for the last playoff spot? Played well last night, but I just don't see that happening. I think they'll get around 25 wins, probably 12th in the Eastern conference.
  6. Iman Shumpert most likely will not participate in the Dunk contest.
  7. Disappointing. Lin still played really well, he had 9 assists and just 3 TO's,,,and still, it seemed like he made some good passes that weren't converted. Amar'e and Carmelo were terrible, Chandler couldn't stay on the floor. Nets played very well - give them credit. Were hitting their shots and made the most of their opportunities. Nets got more of the calls (not the end result of their win, however), but the officiating was some of the worst I've ever seen...really bad calls on both teams.
  8. pretty awesome game today. i was loving every second of it!!!
  9. Well said. He wasn't really in chuck mode, although like two of the shots didn't even hit the rim, and they were decent looks..
  10. That's why you gotta get on that unemployed flow like me
  11. Carmelo, Walker out. Shumpert starts. Unclear whether J.R. Smith will play, Baron Davis has a slight chance to see time, however his status is still listed as doubtful.
  12. Kobe is/was/will always be a far more talented athlete and basketball player. I don't understand why there is a graphic comparing them in any sort of way? That's what makes what you even post laughable. It's like you're trying to create some type of comparison based off nothing. Let me put up Melo's first seven starts compared to Jordan...Or LeBron vs. Kobe first seven starts? Who gives a [expletive]
  13. Knowing RD and how he goes about banning people, this sounds incredibly false.
  14. That could be the stupidest graphic I've ever seen on this site, sorry... First of all, anyone who compares him to Kobe Bryant is an idiot. And they play two totally different positions and styles of play...
  15. Damn doe that shit is wack I can't believe ESPN would put that up. The word Professionalism came to mind...or should I say a lack of it!!!
  16. Pretty cool dude. I gotta make it up to a Knicks game sometime before I move... Tix are just crazy expensive though.
  17. http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l582/tmic0723/859688d0.jpg?t=1329604428 Had to do it to ya'll!!! Picked it up at my local CHAMPS lmao!!! nike makes a fine product!!!!!
  18. he would've been gladly welcomed tonight! No one could hit a shot, he just adds another scoring threat...which, surprisingly, this team needs..
  19. Tonight sucked, Lin played mediocre overall. He turned it over 9 times, which is just too many...hard to win like that. He did have 26 pts though, so he was still getting to the rim. A few non-foul calls at the end that were shocking to me, plus that B.S. play by Benelli. But even when he did make a nice pass, I feel like the guys never knocked anything down. Novak, Fields & Walker were pretty brutal. I kept saying to myself, man, I wish Melo was out there...man, I wish Smith was playing tonight...
  20. yeah that was pretty damn funny
  21. Not only that but CP3 been doin it for years man...
