  1. I believe Rondo is at roughly the same level of play as Williams.
  2. If there was negative rep, I'd have the most neg rep points on OTR.
  3. No, because the Phoenix Suns have the best bench in the NBA. The Magic and Celtics also have better bench players than the Lakers, and maybe even the Knicks as well.
  4. There is no exact measurement for an MVP award. It's not like a gold medal where you win a race, you win the award. It's chosen through a vote, where bias is very involved. Therefor the MVP award, or at least the way the winner is chosen, is flawed.
  5. I used stats because STL10 did. Stats in the NBA aren't sophisticated enough to truly measure the greater individual player.
  6. I believe MVPs are given to the best player on the best team, though I would prefer if it were awarded differently. I don't think CP3 has been a part of the best regular season team in the league yet. Either way, there is always bias involved when selecting the league MVP. Every year, there is always someone saying that someone else deserved the award more. Awards in general don't mean much if the requirements to earn the award are vague or flawed enough. Barack Obama has a Nobel Peace Prize.
  7. I didn't realize overall playing ability is defined by the number of triple doubles a player has gotten. I'll keep that in mind.
  8. Championships are a team accomplishment. Magic Johnson was on better teams, therefore he was a part of more championships. That does not make him a better individual player.
  9. Jason Kidd has a ton of triple doubles too. Does that make him the second best?
  10. If you wish to compare numbers, Chris Paul has a superior career PER with 25.6, while Magic's was 24.1. Chris Paul's career best PER was 30.0, while MJ's was 27.0. CP3 wins the numbers game.
  11. ...and may even be the best player in the league today. So, do you agree that CP3 is the best PG ever?
  12. Pau Gasol is proving to be the best PF in the league. If Kobe is still the best SG, then the Heat only have 1 clear positional advantage out of the 5 match ups. Maybe the Finals will be more interesting after all.

Differences: Dirk can shoot - Pau can pass, rebound, and defend.

Kobe Bryant has no help whatsoever and has to do everything himself, and Steve Nash is the best PG in the NBA.

oh, my bad, i thought we were on the subject of 2006.

  13. Happyness is a mental state. You have the most control over it.
  14. I still don't see how that is being a douche. Being a douche to me is mistreating someone. Asking questions is harmless, no matter how odd the question. Fine.
  15. I've already told you my intention in my last post. But if "douche" means "person who asks questions", then yeah, I guess I am one. And I didn't actually realize he was joking initially. It seemed more to me like he was trying to prove me wrong, and using the "" smiley in a sarcastic way like a lot of people do as if to say "duh he can dunk", so I asked for a more recent video showing that he can still dunk in the same manner in a traffic situation. So seeing him taking it more seriously with asking me if I can prove he can't dunk, therefor asking me to disprove a negative, I sarcastically pointed out that I can't prove a 5'5'' guy can't dunk. I suppose it was a misunderstanding. And we're totally over-analyzing this.
  16. I'd rather not. It's meaningless. And I don't understand the douche game either. Asking questions = being a douche apparently.
  17. Or I was asking for a video more recent, and therefore more relevant. Of course he can dunk, but from what I was hearing, he has difficulty dunking in game situations the last couple years.
  18. Where did I act like a douche? lol. The most "douche" thing I said was pointing out how you guys were protecting him, or at least appeared to be.
  19. And that's where they took me too seriously. I obviously know a 6-11 Eddy Curry can dunk -_-
  20. Pwnt? Hmmm... Odd. All he was doing was getting protective over an overweight, severely underperforming bench player that's eating up 10M/year of the Knicks money. I guess I just don't understand the "pwnage" game. Fine, you guys are right. Pat Riley should accept him and his super awesome post game. It's not like his lack of ability to do anything else productive on and off the basketball court will make getting his ability to do a couple post moves a worthy acquisition.
  21. I love how Knicks fans are so worked up over me bad mouthing Eddy Curry. Geez, you guys sure love that guy spending his 10M/year on Limo drivers and personal chefs that help him maintain his 300+ lbs frame. It's like you guys really want him to get a championship ring with Miami.
  22. Okay. Eddy Curry can dunk. I still don't want him, and neither would Riles. He doesn't deserve a championship ring, anyway.
  23. Nope. I don't have any evidence that Earl Boykins can't dunk either.
  24. Got any videos made more recently than 2007?
