  1. Either way Washington is going to gamble, whether we get Beasley or keep our pick. We either get a player who has yet to meet his expectations but has the potential to be one of the best power forwards in the league, or we draft a player who has the potential to be one of the best players in the league. I'd rather take our chances on one of the draft picks. It's not every day we have a draft class this talented and have a high chance at landing one of the best players in the draft.
  2. Well Beasley is a terrific player, but I don't see him being on equal level with players like John Wall, Evan Turner, DeMarcus Cousins, etc. This draft is packed with talent, and trading a pick that could snag one of those players for Beasley is just too risky for us. I like Beasley's improvement on both ends of the floor, but I'd be more willing to take my chances with one of the previously mentioned players.
  3. Who on the Wizards roster is of any value to the Heat besides draft picks? lol, not to get down on my own team but we have a pretty pathetic roster at hand, and I doubt we'd be willing to trade our potentially very high draft pick for Beasley.
  4. Jenning's 55 point game clouded everyone's view of him. His shooting percentage was horrid ever since that one game and isn't exactly a guy who makes his teammates better. Sure they made the playoffs, but is he the sole reason for that? Not in my opinion. He was playing like a bad version of Gilbert Arenas.
  5. Ditto dude. Don't see how anyone can back up Crawford in this case.
  6. The best rookie won the award. What excuse does Curry have for not winning it? He was a standout on a bad team just like Tyreke, but Tyreke was just a better and more impacting player.
  7. I agree with that statement.
  8. It doesn't, it's a psychological thing. Some fans of great teams such as the Lakers or Cavs, browsing forums knowing that they are associated with the best, would psychologically rank themselves higher than a fan of a much lower fan base, thinking they have room to gloat and thus making them feel more important than others. Not saying anyone in particular here does that, but I have seen it and I have been targeted as being a "lesser" powered member because of who I root for.
  9. Haha you didn't have to do that, but thanks a lot. Running smoothly now.
  10. I did for a while, then it was just boring to look at members without avatars so I turned them back on haha. I'll survive, and probably end up disabling them again.
  11. Loading is never a problem, it's just navigating topics for me.
  12. The Wiz will get spanked in the lottery and end up with like the 6th or 7th overall pick.
  13. I'm still getting murdered by this problem.... For some reason Legacy's has the worst effect on mine. No idea why, and it's on every browser. Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc. I know it's not the computer's fault because I've been on this site on other computers and I always have this problem.
  14. It's probably your damn .gif avatar that makes everything freeze for me. lol
  15. I'll agree with that. It drives me crazy how most Wizards fans are riding all over Blatche thinking he's going to be a superstar one day, when the chances are slim to none. They say things like "with an attitude and motive change he'll be a star," but we all know changes like that don't come easily. I like to consider myself a pretty unbiased fan. I'll admit we suck when we do.
  16. Not everyone has to be a fan of the best players... hell someone before me even put Birdman at center.
  17. PG: Steve Nash SG: Tyreke Evans SF: Kevin Durant PF: Antawn Jamison C: Tim Duncan
  18. That may apply to you. Many have openly admitted that it plays a factor in how much focus they will give that person's post. But I'm glad fan base isn't a concern to you.
  19. I was making a general statement. People overvalue the rep system. It's a joke to me. Hell I'd rep everyone in this thread if I was in a douche-enough mood. Smart people know who the good and not so good posters are.
