Why wouldn't a player like him command the max?

I suppose James Jones could be considered one. He is known as an apparent 3 point specialist but is hardly an impressive "pure shooter."

Very unlikely with the improved play coming from players like Aaron Brooks, Carl Landry, Andrew Bogut, and even Andray Blatche. I'd give it to them four and then some before I'd consider Brewer.

Nah man. I just don't see him playing that well in the NBA. He had quite a few bad games this year and it is clear that his shot is not consistent enough to be an effective weapon in the NBA. He could be a solid role player on an average team, but I don't see him exceeding that role. Plus, the majority of the time Maryland players never turn out to be as good as they are hyped up to be lol. (Joe Smith, Chris Wilcox, Juan Dixon, etc.)

He's not appreciative of the opportunity he's been given. Nick Young would KILL to have the role Blatche is in right now. But of course, Blatche being Blatche, it's never good enough for him. He'd rather bail on his teammates and whine on the bench than take constructive criticism for his defense.

Blatche is such a little [expletive]. He refuses to return to the game and bails on our teammates because he was pulled out in the first quarter for not playing defense. Then he's just saying things like "I'm not going back in, I don't feel like playing." You don't just leave your teammates in the dust like that. This is exactly why Blatche will never be a star in this league, he just isn't mature. He's a 7'0 baby. What a waste of amazing potential talent.
