  1. Which commercials treated them like rivals? The puppet ones? To me it seems like they are trying to show them off as friends, not competitors. Not saying you're wrong, I'm just not sure which one you're referring to.
  2. So many votes and no one wants to explain lol.
  3. It's called marketing. Even the most casual fans know Lebron and Kobe are the 2 best players in the league. If a company has the opportunity to advertise their merchandise in commercials with Lebron AND Kobe, why would they pass that up? They aren't necessarily treating them as "rivals."
  4. LMAO that bear looks like the pic of Xavier Henry in your sig, like the position he's in.
  5. Based on what you have seen so far from both players, who do you think will have a more successful career?
  6. Exactly. We have become a predictable offensive squad, and that combined with a weak defense means a team that is no where near a contending state. We need a player to actually run the offense. Someone who brings the ball up and organizes the offense. Instead, we have a player who brings the ball up and is thinking "I must score." Since we are stuck with Gilbert, we need to put a lot of focus on bringing in a true point guard who is looking to pass more than shoot, which as a result, can allow Gilbert to play more shooting guard. Then we can work on shipping off Caron somewhere for a true power forward, which will allow Jamison to move down to the small forward position. We have the potential to be a great team, we just have to make some changes to the lineup and put our players in the positions they belong in.
  7. That's amazing man, perfect in every way.
  8. You honestly think it matters how a person is getting their points? Points are points, whether they are earned from 3s, dunks, or even free throws. He is easily a top 5.
  9. Ellis and Jennings over Tony Parker or Rondo...?
  10. He isn't in double figures because he is the 4th option on offense for our team... He isn't going to be averaging much when he's taking shots behind Gilbert, Antawn, and Caron. Our biggest problem currently is finding a way to get rid of Gilbert, and that doesn't sound like that's going to happen. I'm a huge fan of his, but he is definitely not what this team needs.
  11. None of the shooting guards who will definitely remain with our team next season are capable starters. We have Stevenson and Young. Young is a proven energy guy who will bring a great offense off of the bench, so we can always keep him as a backup. Stevenson shouldn't have a contract on any team and should not be associated with the NBA at all. We need Miller, he is the perfect starting shooting guard for our team. Letting him and Foye walk is just basically giving up the 5th pick from last season for nothing. It's possible Haywood may ask for more than we are willing to offer so he could potentially be gone. It's going to be a tough offseason for us. Oh and ESPN.com says McGuire is restricted, but they could always be wrong.
  12. J-Smoove is a power forward bro.
  13. Lebron James Carmelo Anthony Kevin Durant Gerald Wallace Paul Pierce
  14. I just totally spaced out haha, I changed my list. I'm making these lists while watching tv so I'm not putting a ton of thought into them haha.
  15. Kobe Bryant Dwyane Wade Brandon Roy Joe Johnson I guess Andre Iguodala could be considered a shooting guard even though he's been playing a lot of small forward lately, so he's 5th.
  16. Tim Duncan Dirk Nowitzki Chris Bosh Amare Stoudamire Pau Gasol
  17. Steve Nash Chris Paul Deron Williams Tony Parker Rajon Rondo
  18. What a pointless thread, just an indirect way to brag for the Lakers... <_<
  19. I hate my roommate too. He's an antisocial douche who never showers and watches tv all day. Never leaves the room, and goes to bed at 10:30...
  20. Lebron and Wade. Wish I could vote for both, but I guess I'll stay safe and go with Lebron.
  21. I kept trying to tell myself that while I was shoveling haha. My back is aching now, time for some hot cocoa. :glasses:
  22. Mike Miller is definitely more than a role player. He's definitely a huge impact to our roster, and we better resign him if we hope to have success. As for the trade, our front office is retarded. The Suns offered Amare for Caron Butler + 5th pick and we said no... how the hell could we pass up that offer? That would put Jamison at the SF and Amare at the PF. That would have been a beastly front court. Instead, we hung on to the "all-star" who is clearly not working in our system.
  23. I'd move the text to somewhere more visible. Also, maybe stretch out the bg effect to the open space. I see what you are trying to do there, but there is just "too much" open space. It looks like a great sig though. It just seems unfinished.
