  1. Just finished shoveling snow for about 5 1/2 hours... I hate having a house with a longass driveway lol.
  2. Oh, yeah they're always pretty cool haha. I always have to get mine from Google Images. -_-
  3. Only a foot? I'm jealous lol, we're up to 25 inches. I can't even leave my house and the person who is supposed to plow our driveway is pretty booked so we'll have to wait at least another day.
  4. Yup. A lot of other diehard fans are in denial about our need to rebuild, claiming that we still have the pieces to be a contender. Even if every single player on our current roster was healthy, I don't see us getting passed the second round in the playoffs. We need to rebuild, we haven't had a decent year in a long time.
  5. We have a lot of free agents this summer, and a lot of fans would say that most of them are part of the "components" we already have to be a contending team and that we should bring most of them back. For me, I say we rebuild around our few contributers. Here are Washington's free agents for this upcoming offseason: RESTRICTED Randy Foye Dominic McGuire UNRESTRICTED Earl Boykins Javaris Crittenton Brendan Haywood Mike James Mike Miller Fabricio Oberto Deshawn Stevenson Out of that whole group, I say we only bring back Haywood, Miller, McGuire, and Boykins. Foye could potentially be asking for more than we are willing to offer and he isn't an absolutely necessary addition to our team for the role we would offer him. Crittenton is a claimed "point guard" with all athleticism, no court awareness and bad shooting range. Definitely not what we need. Mike James is just a guard looking to get his deep shot off. He's a decent guard, but not worth bringing back. Oberto and Deshawn don't even need explanations. Haywood is possibly the most contributing player on our squad this season so far, and is our only true defensive presence. Miller's basketball IQ, leadership, and deadly long range shooting is definitely a must-have. McGuire is a young athletic player who truly puts 100% on defense every time he's on the floor, and with time he has the potential to be an elite defender as well as a great rebounder and shot blocker. Boykins is a great backup point guard. He has excellent court vision, finds his open man, knocks down the mid range jumper with ease, and converts on his free throws (an area where our team lacks). Thoughts?
  6. Disgraceful. I'm not surprised by the loss but wow, a 26 point deficit is pitiful. Gil shot horribly. Just an overall poor performance on both ends of the floor.
  7. We're at about 18 inches right now, and we aren't able to leave the house. All of that snow is pretty solid and icy so it's nearly impossible to shovel so we're going to hire a plower to come soon. Too bad since break just started and I can't go and see any of my high school friends.
  8. I wouldn't mind that trade if our team continued to fail even with a healthy Mike Miller back in the lineup. A high draft pick and plenty of money to sign a productive starter in the offseason would be a huge improvement for the team despite getting rid of Butler.
  9. Wow these articles are getting repetitive... "Kobe is as good as Jordan!" or "Kobe is better than Lebron!" It never seems to end. Kobe is one of the greatest ever, but is no Michael Jordan. End of story.
  10. We're supposed to have 15-21 inches of snow by the time this blizzard peaks. We have about 14 right now from the looks of it.
  11. lol not gonna lie, you guys played some weak [expletive] defense tonight which allowed Gilbert to drive and get fouled so many times. I'm just glad he shot decently though. Your boy Curry was pretty damn impressive though.
  12. Well he definitely turned some heads tonight. Dropping 45 points and 13 assists on efficient shooting in Golden State, good job Gil.
  13. Great game by Gil, very proud of my man. Curry played amazing too. I was impressed by Randolph's effort but wow can he be a dumbass sometimes or what? Nice job on the dribble inbound idiot...
  14. Damn, Gilbert and Curry have a battle going on. I was getting nervous in the beginning when we were down 11-1.
  15. You said he doesn't showboat anymore. Eating that french fry obviously got him some attention. There's even articles on it.... if that was any other player, no one would be talking about it. Lebron is a showboater and no homer can even deny that. Not saying that's bad, but you can't say he isn't.
  16. 96 on my Information Technology final, 97 on my Interpersonal Communications final. and an 86 on my Calc final. Good start to my break, I'll be celebrating tonight.

    New skin..

lol yeah there's no rush man, especially around this time of the year.

    New skin..

The main banners are fine, the only concern is adding more players to the team banners. No rush though, having one really isn't a big deal to me and I'm sure it doesn't matter to anyone else.
  19. Exactly. I stayed up extra late to watch the game against Sacramento even though I had a final the next day, and of course to no one's surprise, he turns the ball over in the final seconds and blows the game. I don't see him turning himself around this season, or even the first half of next season possibly. Two years without healthy NBA play is a long time.
  20. RIP Chris Henry, I hope that [expletive]ed up wife gets charged.
  21. That could be part of it, but it's most likely due to him not playing for virtually 2 whole years, and his performance seems much worse to our eyes because he drew up high expectations for himself. Saying things like nobody can guard him and how he is stronger than ever. We were expecting a better Gilbert to carry our team to 50+ wins, and instead we have a no-clutch, seemingly confused Gilbert who will probably help get us slightly over 30 wins, if that.
