Haha that's the first time I've seen it. Made me chuckle a bit, Landry Fields is a badass.
-
And on top of all that he can finish around the rim, and he might be able to jumpstart our fastbreak offense which has been nonexistant this season. This rumor has been out there for a while now, and died off as quickly as it started. Bobcats would have to be out of their mind to downgrade like that.

Second half was Kobe's half, he was really aggressive and didn't settle for jumpshots especially when he knew he had an advantage against Von Wafer in the third quarter. His shot selection overall was excellent. We did a good job defensive rebounding, which I thought was key to winning the game. About time our big men played like big men. My only complaint is that Bynum needs to make something happen when he gets the ball in the post, he backs opponets down way too long making our offense stagnant. Way to spoil the night for Ray Allen and the Celtics, now lets get tomorrows game against the Knicks and Sundays game against the Magic.

I don't think any team gets called for more offensive 3 second calls than us. Amazing what happens when the ball isn't stationary. Kobe is doing an excellent job finding his open teammates, which is leading to some indirect assists.
-
I highly doubt it.
-
And people want the Lakers to trade Bynum and play Pau at the five with no backup frontcourt depth. HA, what a joke.
-
Bostons ball movement is carving us apart, while we continue to play one on one basketball. Cool.
-
You're welcome Ray, we couldn't have made it any easier for you.

For all you guys that give Kobe [expletive] for not playing defense, I hope you watched this first quarter.
-
I wouldn't be surprised, I'm actually expecting him to break it in the first quarter.
-
On a brighter note, Lakers should pick him up once Phil retires. I would love to see Sloan win his first ring with LA.
-
Well from the snooping that I've done, I'm under the impression that Utah fans feel that this move was long overdue. The clashes that he had with his players were only setting him up for disaster; and when you mess with the franchise player, well, that's your one way ticket out.

This is hard to believe. From what I've read apparently Jerry Sloan wanted to suspend Deron Williams for his antics during half time. Management disagreed with Sloan, held a 30 minute meeting after the game, and it was there that Sloan decided to resign. This is truely a sad day, but atleast it was on his own terms. It's going to be really awkward watching Utah games, without Sloan on the sidelines.

Hopefully our big guys show up today, we need to do a better job rebounding and limiting second chance points.

Spike Lee: Garnett needs to calm the [expletive] down

It's not all about his presence, it's the fact that we are going to have absolutely no depth. Lamar is going to be moved back into a starting role, which is going to leave us with no solid big men in our rotation. What is Phil going to do when Pau or Lamar get into foul trouble, play Joe Smith? Give me a break. And on top of that we all know how big of a [expletive] Pau is, I'm not really comfortable with him playing the five. I don't care what people say, Bynum presence alone makes a big difference, he's an intimidating force in the middle.

5 second violation to put the game away, ugh.
-
Granger has got to step up as a leader. His play the last few minutes has been brutal; a couple way off shots and then he lets Lebron blow right past him on a key stop resulting in Hibberts sixth foul. Edit: Nice design on the inbounds play.
-
I'm not really high on him, but he gives us the best chance of winning another championship. I have too many concerns with this trade-there aren't enough touches to go around, we lose frontcourt size and depth, and we lose strong perimeter defense (Artest will go to the bench), ect. Granted this would be one hell of a deal if we could lock up Melo for the longrun, but for right now I'm concerned about a three-peat and that wont happen if we trade away Bynum for Melo.
