  1. I just saw the replay and it looked pretty scary. A sprain at his age could end up having some pretty lasting effects.
  2. Too many jumpshots leading to Michigans demise. They aren't going to get very far in the tourney when they cant work the ball through the post or penetrate and score in the paint. Dicky V has been on Burke's nuts all night and he's struggling like no other thing half.
  3. Chris Johnson whopping Pau's ass ever since he checked in.
  4. Kobe and Pau need to get back in the post. We cant expect to beat the zone running 5 out.
  5. blowing another big lead in typical Laker fashion
  6. T-Wolves are just going through the motions, they have no intentions of actually playing tonight.
  7. We have the T-Wolves on their heels defensively. I don't think we've taken one low percentage shot thus far. Amazing what happens when we dont turn the ball over.
  8. Miami doesnt want to see the Pacers in the postseason again.
  9. Bayless making the most of his start in place of Gay tonight. Jumpshot is on automatic right now.
  10. Funny how people are blaming the lack of depth but at the start of the season Laker fans and NBA fans alike were drooling at the thought of having Meeks, Jamison, and Hill come off the bench. This team was supposed to be flawless. I've been complaining about the lack of athelticism on this roster for the past two years now. The game is evolving but managmement hasnt tweaked the roster one bit. The whole twin tower thing hasn't worked under D'Antoni and it wouldn't have worked under any other coach because Pau is DONE. We should have traded when his value was peaking a season or two ago for an atheltic wing and started Jordan Hill especially after how well he played in the postseason last year. But how we're either stuck with him for next season or will get garbage in return if we decide to trade him. I fail to see how Dwight is a superstar, granted he still isn't at full strength yet and probably wont be this season. He doesn't have a post game. His go to move is a running sky hook which is very ineffective as he gets stripped a good chunk of the time because he brings the ball so low. Should his shot attempts be higher. Yes. But I'm not convinced that he would do much even if we made it a point of emphasis of getting him more post ups.
  11. Biggest win of the season. Could be season defining in the grand scheme of things. We have a good chance of winning out this week, have some pretty piss poor teams coming up on the schedule.
  12. Have any of you guys watched Impractical Jokers? Show is hilarious. I just ran through the first two seasons at work this weekend.
  13. He's one of two players that puts up 16/8/4, and he can defend one through five. He has a unique skillset and fits into the same category as someone like Brook Lopez or Roy Hibbert. They are rare commodities and teams are willing to commit max contracts. It would be a horrible decision to give him a max contact, but bad contracts have become the norm.
  14. Excellent work as always Brandon. I actually like the iphone version alot more now, it feels smoother and more easily accessible.
  15. A guy like Rondo obviously leaves a big void but I don't think they'll have as big of dropoff as people are expecting. Bottom half of the East is terrible, they'll get in as the 8th seed.
  16. I have no major complaints. I would have liked to see Curry get the nod over Parker; but it it what it is, both guys are equally deserving.. It was highly improbably that two Warriors were going to get a spot anyway. Mostly just happy for Paul George, it's the first of many allstar selections for him. Glad Peirce didn't make it this season.
  17. What a circus this season has turned into. The 2006-07 Lakers were more respectable.
  18. Saw this on ESPN this morning. Thought it was pretty interesting. If I can remember correctly the rankings that they ended up with were (1) Andrew Luck, (2) Russell Wilson, (3) Colin Kaepernick, (4) Robert Griffin, (5) Cam Newton.
  19. Kobe needs to get out of this three game shooting slump........fast.
  20. Losing Marreese Speights isn't a big deal because Arthur has played well since his return. I like what Wayne Ellington brought off their bench though, solid three point shooter and decent defender. Probably wont mean much now, but it could ending up hurting them in the postseason.
