  1. D'Antoni is too stubborn to change his ways. He's already been asked a couple times whether he would adjust the system to fit the roster, but he hasn't budged a single step. The direction we go with Howard really comes down to managements stance on D'Antoni. If we're really going to stick with him for the long haul then it doesn't make sense to hold onto a guy who we cant utilize effectively. And just from reading Dwight's body language I'm not liking our chances of resigning Dwight if D'Antoni comes back for another season. Obviously we aren't going to get something of equal value but right now I don't give a shit, it's better than losing him to free agency. Kobe might playing his last season next year, the last thing I want is a rebuild type season.
  2. I did the whole Walgreens thing. Assistant Manager for one whole year, but it's not worth it even though the pay was good. Called it quits right when they transferred me.
  3. Too much Tony Parker down the stretch. Dry spell at the end of the game cost the Warriors ultimately. Sucks not having Curry to knock down open looks and create offense for the rest of the team.
  4. Damn Ibaka took a splash, but that shouldn't be a flagrant. There wasn't really any intent to injury him and I thought Brand tried to make a play on the ball. JVG has a good point.
  5. Ray Allen [expletive]ed us up on those curls in the 4th. We're asking too much of Nash to chase him around. Mike D needs to make better adjustments on the fly.
  6. how was that not a travel on Lebron, last I checked you couldn't roll on the ground with the ball and get up
  7. Really think we need to go with Earl Clark with the way Miami is spreading us out with this small lineup. Pau has been a tad slow on his last two contests, we're lucky that Battier is off.
  8. Joel setting illegal picks every time down the floor.
  9. Some weak calls this half. Wish they going both ways.
  10. Dwight has been imposing his will since he has returned. As long as we keep him involved offensively, he'll keep working hard on defense. I like the gameplan heading into this game though. We're full court pressing a little which is taking Miami out of sync, and atleast 80% of the shots were contested that half. Cant complain. As long as we limit the turnovers we'll have a good chance of pulling this one out.
  11. We're contesting a majority of their half court shots. Probably the most aggressive defense we've played all season.
  12. Pau and Jamison are both playing pretty well. We should be up double figures with that way that we've defended tonight. Turnovers keeping Miami around though.
  13. Miami really didn't do a whole lot in the half court, we just have to do a better job minimizing turnovers and preventing all these easy transition buckets.
  14. Gasol is bitter as [expletive]. I'm getting sick all his complaining.
  15. Pek out with a thigh contusion, and now Schved leaves with a ankle injury. T-Wolves cant catch a break.
  16. Hope Clark continues to play well, it's his job to lose. I'm feeling confident about tonight.
  17. Actually now that I look at some of the stats, I dont know if KG really deserves to be a starter. Lopez or maybe even Noah should have got the nod over him. Garnett: 14.6ppg 7rpg 0.8blkpg 18.69 PER in 29.5 mins per game (20-18, 7th in East) Lopez: 18.6ppg 7.4rpg 2.1blkpg 25.66 PER in 29.2 mins per game (23-16, 5th in East) Noah: 12.4 ppg 10.7 rpg 2.0 blkpg 17.12 PER in 38.4 mins per game (22-15, 4th in East) Lopez is outperforming him in fewer minutes, and Noah is helping the Bulls play above expectations. I've always felt that wins should carry more weight in the selection, especially the starters.
  18. I like the hiring. Offense should be humming under his regime. He loves speed and knows how to maximize talent. I could see DeSean, Maclin, and McCoy having monster seasons next year. I also think this probably means Vick will probably get another run with this team. Chip's always had a thing for fast qb's who can make plays with their legs. Eagles are definitely headed in the right direction as long as they can get a good defensive coordinator now.
  19. Cant really complain. Although Tim Duncan, Zach Randolph, and David Lee are just as deserving, if not more deserving of a starting spot over Dwight.
  20. Pretty sure this is Kobe's first game under 30 minutes lol.
  21. Cavs really blew it with the Waiters pick. Dude doesn't know the difference between a good shot and a bad shot.
  22. 5 straight to's, 12 on the quarter. We can never sustain leads.
