  1. Guessing any kind of trade would center around Avery Bradley.
  2. Blazers bench once again letting the game slip. I would legitimately be scared of them of taking a playoff spot if they still had Crawford (playing at this years level).
  3. Miami getting whatever they want in the paint.
  4. That little tid bit on the Pacers is pretty interesting. I didn't realize they were playing at a historic level. I don't know how much value your statement holds though. When I think of dominant defenses, I think of defensive anchors and team discipline. Ben Wallace was the anchor for the Pistons, but even Sheed and Prince were All-NBA Defense worthy and you could actually make a case for Chauncey as well. I haven't watched a whole lot of Hibbert, but he doesn't seem like the anchor that people have made him out to be. He possesses unbelievable length but he's really slow laterally and not very athletic. Which is basically the complete opposite of Ben Wallace. They have strong perimeter defenders but we all saw that wasn't enough against Wade and Lebron in the postseason. Basically what I'm trying to say is that while Vogel has done an excellent job getting them to play team defense, they just don't have enough individual talent or an anchor like the Pistons did for me to give them a chance in the East. I cant look at their roster and point out a gamechanger. One of the problems that Indiana ran into last year was their inability to get their bigs involved offensively and take advantage of their size. This season Hibbert has taken a step back, and David West is the same West we've seen the last couple seasons. Nothing special. I just don't see how they're going to make noise when they become so perimeter oriented. Knicks and Heat can get away with it because they shoot so well from the perimeter and they have superstars that can make compensate for that. The way I see it there are only two contenders in the East, Miami and New York. I wouldn't give any other team a chance. I would put Indiana and Chicago in the second tier, and the Nets in the third.
  5. Charles Barkley is such a troll. No way are the Pacers, Bulls, and Nets bigger threats than the Knicks.
  6. A lot of long jump shots for the Pacers. They gotta get to the hole and try to draw fouls/create easier scoring opportunities.
  7. What username do you go by on TLN? I used to post there a while back.
  8. Absolutely despised him in OKC, but I've really come to respect him this season. I'll definitely be rooting for him, he should easily eclipse the 30 point mark tonight.
  9. Rex and Rob both love to run their mouths, but they don't have a whole lot to show for.
  10. So you're asking us how many games the Lakers will win, but we're an automatic bid for the playoffs? Makes sense.
  11. Sherman learned a lesson the hard way. You never invite a 300 lb man to punch you in the face while he's still wearing his helmet.
  12. Kobe or Metta need to rise up to the challenge and guard Harden next half. We might as well just give them two points everytime someone like Meeks is left on an island with him.
  13. And that's why we need Nash to play with a scorers mentality at times.
  14. We havent closed out on Delfino all game and we keep biting on Parson's pump fakes. It's the small things, we gotta play with more discipline defensively. Kobe's needs to look to score. Enough with setting up your teammates.
  15. Well I dont see this kind of pace working in our favor as the game progresses.
  16. Sacre is keeping possessions alive. We've rarely had that kind of energy to start games.
  17. Trade makes a whole lot of sense for the Grizzles. They lose a little wing athleticism but they add a equally, if not better defensive player, and the main thing is they can space the floor a lot better with his three point shooting (which is much needed when you have Z Bo and Gasol occupying so much room in the paint). Not sure what direction the Suns are going though. He isnt really worth the cap hit. You're basically saying that you're going to build around him if you make the trade. And isn't even close to being an all-star let alone a franchise player.
  18. Chris Webber predicts Kobe to take 46 shots tonight.
  19. Steve Nash is 5 assists away from 10,000. He'll be one of 5 players to ever reach the milestone. Just something to watch out for.
  20. Robert Sacre is out to take Dwight's job.
  21. dat spin move Cant believe I skipped out on gym to watch this debacle.
  22. Te'o is supposed to be the best linebacker in the country? LOL.
  23. This game is such a mismatch. Its like a high school varsity team playing against a freshmen team. Bama's faster, stronger, more talented, more discipline, better coached, the list couple go on and on. Norte Dame is going to go down as the worst #1 team in history. Oregon should have been here.
  24. Well this game is going to turn into a route as expected. Norte Dame cant get off the field on 3rd down. Lacey cant be stopped.
