  1. looks good so far. I hope the Nets keep their name and colors when they move.
  2. you gotta go for Jackson. Iggy would cost them expiring contracts, young talents, and picks whereas Jackson would only cost them expiring contracts and maybe a pick. considering Jackson's deal, I wouldn't be surprised if Jordan shipped him out for say, Butler and a pick. it may sound ridiculous, but that [expletive] would save Mike like, twenty million big ones.
  3. it's the opposite of pointless. we've seen how fragile some of Boston's big men are (Shaq, JO, KG). getting Sheed back would be a huge plus for them. he could play either the four or the five off the bench and provide scoring and rebounding.
  4. off to Oakland. I'll be back Monday.
  5. two teens were shot and killed in my hometown last night. I didn't know anyone involved, but it's pretty scary to think something like this would happen in my own city. it's such a safe place, just a boring suburban area, and this goes down. RIP. http://www.redlandsdailyfacts.com/news/ci_17019991
  6. I don't know about that lol. a bye guarantees you admission into the next round and you don't even have to play. although the Saints are heavy favorites, anything can happen in professional football. considering potential injuries, unfamiliar weather conditions, and lackluster performances, you never really know if a team will win. I'm hoping Seattle pulls this off. I hate football (I find it to be generally tedious and barbaric), but Seattle's as close as it gets to a favorite NFL team of mine. my dad went to the same school as Pete Carrol, so that alone basically makes them my favorite. aside from that, I just like to see the underdog win. it'd be pretty sweet to see them pull off this upset and surprise everyone.
  7. well, here it goes. I'll let you guys know if anyone grabs ma nutz. it's in place; it's just not in all the airports... yet.

  9. not sure what you're insinuating. if you think I went to Real Deal about this, you're wrong.
  10. well, now that I see it annoys you, I'll make sure to keep doing it; thanks for the tip. yeah, it's a nice poem. it could be a haiku or whatever they're called lol.
  11. Rondo's numbers tonight: 12 pts (6-10 shooting), 10 rebounds, 22 assists, 6 steals, 1 block. amazing. I haven't seen the highlights yet, but that's gotta be the performance of the year so far.
  12. hmm, I never knew the sides of the pyramid represented something.
  13. the sole purpose of the feedback forum is for members to propose suggestions. I got sick of reading twenty posts per day about video games when I don't even play, and when we already have a subforum dedicated specifically to that discussion. so yeah, I made one suggestion. sorry. what does it mean?
  14. you're the one who's causing the trouble, dude. you called the video gaming discussion thread stupid, then continued posting that stuff in here. I don't see why you have such a problem with posting video game stuff in the video game subforum. wow, you're hilarious.
  15. there's a huge difference between the fans and the anchors. the anchors are paid to act professionally and to report the news in a mature, unbiased manner - it's their job. the fans, well, they're just fans.
  16. didn't he win like ten straight games as their starter or something?
  17. I don't follow football, but isn't it foolish to cut Young? he's young and he's shown that he can be a great QB.
  18. he's seven feet, but height doesn't necessarily guarantee good rebounding skills.
  19. I need to came down? I'm not politically correct; this is just common etiquette. you're not supposed to laugh and high five before announcing a firing. I know it wasn't their intent to mock Mangini or whatever, but that doesn't matter. given your feelings for Mangini, of course you're not going to care about this. the way you're talking about him in this thread, it's like you hate him more than anyone. if it was your favorite coach, though, you'd probably have a different opinion.
  20. the Kings would probably move to Vegas or something if this were to happen. I knew there was some kind of conspiracy going on with the NBA buying a team, but I didn't want to say anything. the league had never purchased a team before and although they said they were intent on keeping it in New Orleans, I think we all knew that was a lie. this move would benefit the league as well as Ellison, who's wanted to own a team for almost a decade now. this new franchise could share an arena with the San Jose Sharks and rake in a lot of cash. I heard rumors of the Oakland A's moving to San Jose relatively soon as well. that might become the next big sports city with an NBA team and NHL team in the same arena and an MLB ballpark across the street.
  21. lol ok, bro. anyway, I found this on YouTube. I guess they decided to play in Miami since they couldn't perform at the game.
  22. that makes it even worse lol. you guys are missing the point. it doesn't matter if it was Bill Gates who got laid off. as employees of the most popular sports network in the world, the anchors are expected to act professionally. I know they probably just had a friendly bet going, but laughing and slapping fives about it on national television definitely isn't the way to go in that situation. obviously, Mangini is going to survive. he's made enough dough coaching to support him and his family, but a man was still fired nonetheless.
