If the NFL/NBA Lockout....
EastCoastNiner replied to Check my Stats's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
From what I have heard, if there is a lockout, it will only be through training camp because the players wouldn't want to have to go to training camp, and then the season would start shortly after. -
Give me Roy all day every day. I agree with the GOAT!

Rasmussen Predicts GOP Gain of 55 in House

According to my town's statistics, I was the only person to vote for Ron Paul in the 2008 primaries. . We have about 35,000 people in my town, and I was "supposedly" the only one. . I'm calling bull-[expletive], and I think the liberal women at the Town Hall got rid of any ballet with Ron Paul on it. . -
You can say whatever you want to say. He was clapping. He didn't make any physical gestures towards him, and Rypien just flipped out and grabbed him. Six games is pretty pathetic for his actions. The NHL needs to make an example out of him.

He should have gotten 20+ games. If the fan was actually being aggressive, then fine, give him six games, but the fan didn't TOUCH him at all, and he went after the fan. Terrible decision by the NHL once again. He should have gotten 20+. However, if the fan was hurt, he would have gotten a lot more. The NHL suspends on injury, which is just dumb.

If the Chicago Bulls Acquired Joe Johnson...?

You're over-rating your team BIG time. Please don't ever call Joe Johnson and Carlos Boozer superstars ever again. And, you're pumping up Noah and Deng. -

I just want to know, what does everyone wants to do with the people at Guantanamo Bay? You guys will be the same people [expletive]ing and moaning about how we should have stopped a terrorist attack if people in that prison attack the U.S. in the future. -

Rasmussen Predicts GOP Gain of 55 in House

Personally, I could care less for Christine O'donnel, but by saying she needs to learn the Constitution, then you need to tell every member that voted for the health care bill to pass to learn it [expletive] well. In general, liberals have been pissing on the Constitution for years. The Supreme Court shouldn't even have the power it has as well, but that's what happens when idiots make stupid decisions and say they should have a lot of power. -

Bush did well the first four years for everything he had to deal with. The second term, yes, he [expletive]ed up, but he dealt with a lot more [expletive] than that clown in office right now. I'm not even a Republican, but rather anti-dumbass, which is exactly what Obama is. There's a reason you're season many people that voted for Obama jumping ship right now. -
Why are people so against taxes?
EastCoastNiner replied to JYD's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
I know you may think it doesn't, but it does considering a lot of you are saying that just because people who make $250k don't like the taxes that they are greedy, or that they should be willing to give money because it''s their "moral obligation". This isn't directed at you, but I can't wait until some of you start paying taxes. It's funny how many people that are generally liberal or for taxes when they are young switch over to a more conservative view when they are older because reality slapped them it the face......hard. -

Seriously, are you really that dense? There's a reason companies have one CEO versus thousands of workers. It's much harder to find someone that can run a company than it is to find labor workers. Seriously, you're reaching for something that isn't there. -

And, where you live plays a major role in that. Go live in the suburbs of Chicago, San Fransisco, or other nice cities and see how far it gets you. Living comfortably doesn't mean you're rich, and making $250k is no where near being rich. -
No, we aren't playing, but we know what a defenseless receiver is, and that sure as hell wasn't Desean Jackson.

That's funny because MOST billion dollar CEO's that started their own company either didn't graduate college or go to college at all. You can go to college if you're poor. That's why many people who are supposedly "rich" have a [expletive] load of student loans. Don't quote me on the first comment yet, but it's something where most billionaire CEO's didn't go to college or graduate. I would have to find some sources though. I know I've seen it many times though. And, this isn't directed to you in particular, but who the hell are you guys to say how much someone should be able to live off of? Most people probably don't want to live just comfortably, but instead want to live a life of luxury, and I don't see how you can call that "greedy". The only way some of you will get a reality check is when the major companies in our country that are supporting many of your parent's asses get the hell out of our country and you guys can't find a job. That will be a great reality check for you. Blame the rich who give most people in this country a damn job.
