I see a franchise player as plainly someone you would associate with the team. For example, Paul Pierce and Chris Paul are both franchise players in my opinion.

He should have gotten the award at least once before, most notably when the Jazz finished close to .500 without Stockton and Malone for the first time in x years. If the Jazz keep piling up the W's though he have a great chance.

Well, good to know that we owned a 6-2 team that didn't have David Lee.

The scary thing about this Heat team is that even though they played sub-par for at least 3 quarters, they were still able to claw back and make the opponent team sweat in the last 5 minutes or so. Imagine if Wade made 1 or 2 of those 3-pointers that rimmed out and Heat may be the team smiling at the end.

Heat should really consider adding another big man after this. First Emeka, now Millsap. At least someone who makes the guards of the opposing team to think twice before handing the ball to the PFs/Cs.

I don't think Z-Bo is to blame here. People make up stuff to keep things interesting. Maybe it's the 20-20 he just posted and that he looks very happy on his interview with NBA TV (then again, probably everyone else would after posting 20-20), but I think he will be a professional and keep playing ball at Memphis.
