  1. You got that right. I still remember being able to score from the halfway line...good times. FIFA is terrific nowadays though, I tried playing PES 2011 after playing FIFA 2009 and 2010 and it felt terrible.
  2. In terms of depth, Magic and the Celtics' bench are definitely better than the Lakers' bench. In terms of explosiveness, the Suns win. I also think Mavs have a formidable bench as well.
  3. Yeah I just realized that he is still like the top or second in terms of minutes played for the Wolves with like 26 minutes per game.
  4. I wasn't sure whether you are serious or not. I am pretty sure Moe was joking on "a cooler name" but I wasn't sure about yours.
  5. Well, Bosh and Hedo's shot attempts gotta go somewhere.
  6. Nahh they aren't worse than the Nets in terms of talent. All they have to do is.... FREE KEVIN LOVE ALREADY!
  7. As we all know the Thunder didn't really surprise anyone with their start up to date (3-3), so what's wrong with them? Is it because Ron Adams left for Chicago? Durant's struggle? Lack of an inside presence? Obviously the struggle cannot be attributed to one single factor, but what do you think is the major factor? To me, it's Durant's struggle. I watched every USA match in the FIBA and he was killing the competition then. Granted, the other national teams didn't have notable NBA players, but he just outshone everyone else on the team and any time he put a shot up it looked like it was going in. Then skipping forward to last Thursday/Friday when I watched the Blazers' game, he was clearly struggling. He couldn't get away from Batum at all (Batum is a good defender though), and was putting up mostly bad shots. When he had open looks, it was almost like there was a sense of doubt in him in whether he was able to make the shot. Do you guys think he will struggle like this through the rest of the season and likewise, will the Thunder do the same?
  8. Battie actually played today against the Knicks and scored 6 points with a plus-minus of +15 in 16 minutes . Still, I am going with Josh Powell.
  9. I would much rather them have two separate leagues, to be honest. Pre-season games with European teams is enough.
  10. I, for one, would welcome him to Chicago with open hands.
  11. The Nuggets may have found another guy earning relatively low wages that is useful in the rotation: Gary Forbes. They seem to really have a knack on finding these type of guys.
  12. I remember like 2-3 years ago I thought he will be on the same level as Messi and Ronaldinho....obviously that didn't work out, but it would still be a major coup for Houston, and to an extent the MLS, to get a player of such calibre as Dos Santos and someone who is still in the 'golden age' of his career.
  13. Really? I must have got the two mixed up then. When I read about articles they refer to those "Strict Shooters" as "Pure Shooters" so I guess the phrase's definition varies between people.
  14. To be really strict on the definition of "Pure Shooters", only two come to mind. Kyle Korver and Jason Kapono. I don't count Ray-Ray since he has the ability to drive to the lane. EDIT: Peja is another.
  15. I am going with Monta too. The style of the team and the number of shot attempts he can get enable him to have the greatest chance. Durant still got guys like Westbrook and Jeff Green who can score, not to mention the Thunder are aiming for home court advantage in the playoffs. If Steph Curry and/or David Lee is injured (and the possibility is high considering this is the Warriors), Monta can probably shoot like 40 shots and no one would blame him.
  16. Ahh fair enough. Thanks anyway. :glasses:
  17. Seriously, what's wrong with Earl Barron? He averaged a double-double in his stint with the Knicks last season. Yes, I know it was a small sample size and yes, it was the Knicks who at that time had no one else but David Lee who is a scorer in the post, but he should be on an NBA team if dudes like Shawne Williams and Maurice Ager can get another chance.
  18. We would have been over the cap with Kirk though and probably wouldn't have been able to get all these role players in along with Boozer.
  19. We can't get any of the guys you mentioned unfortunately, all for the common reason that their team needs them (yes, even Afflalo). I hope we can get Marcus Thornton since he is getting no love at NO, but no matter what, we really don't have any expendable pieces that other teams would be interested in. Also, we only got 1.4 mil left of cap space, so that's only enough for a vet minimum. Danthay Jones could be another option given how he is not even in the rotation for Indy, but he's only a better version of Keith Bogans. To be honest, I wished we re-signed Flip Murray because he can really score.
  20. I like it quite a bit, actually. Any chance you can put CP3 in the center though? I'll still use this one if you can't, but it looks better IMO if he is at the center with that shaded bubble.
  21. How does B-Diddy to Bobcats for Nazr Mohammad's expiring, DJ Augustin and Najera sound? Surprisingly enough, the ESPN trade machine predicted 8 less wins for the BOBCATS and 4 more wins for the Clippers if this deal is done.
  22. Yeahh but truth is, if we want to get the 3rd/4th seed then Rose will have to score over or equal to 20 points so the PPG won't drop by much. 20-10 and a team with around 50 wins definitely deserves some consideration for MVP. Back to the topic, Rondo probably won't win MVP or be in the mix, but it's not his fault. He just got some darn good players around him.
