This. Usually you are looking for the 2nd or 3rd attacking option when you are picking in the top 10 and drafting him at #9 doesn't fit that. That said, he will be a good role player though and can help the Jazz to another playoff push, providing all else remain the same or better.

If even Kwame Brown can tempt the Lakers to trade Caron Butler for him 4-5 seasons after his rookie year, I am sure Michael Beasley can attract some attention from other teams now.

RC Buford gets my vote. He has found so many good players in the second round of the draft while keeping the Spurs competitive throughout all the years . (I think Pop was GM before Buford was so credit goes to him too)

Definitely need a shooter or a slasher. Obviously those 2 needs can be filled by simply dipping into the free agent pool but it never hurts to get someone useful on the bench. A pick between 30-35 is always a good source for future helpful role players. Not a bad trade for the Blazers (obviously that depend on how much $$ they paid). EDIT: Just check on ESPN and they are saying that they paid 2m. I am a bit surprised at how high the price is as that is the salary of a mid-first round pick I believe.
