That is actually not a bad idea. At least the bench will have Bynum and Odom who can direct the offense when Kobe and/or Gasol rest.

Damn it. The Bulls better beat the Raptors because I would hate to see the Bulls in the non-playoff teams category due to this loss.

There should've been at least two players from the Lakers running out to support Fisher when he was being defended by Melo. They must've thought Fisher was Kobe.

I hate losing a guy like Noah but the prospect of Bosh pairing up with Rose is too good to pass on should Bosh agree on a deal with the Bulls.

I think that the Nuggets will be able to handle the first round without Karl anyway so as long as he is back at the helm for the round/s afterwards that is all that matters.

Grizzlies Hiring Dikembe Mutombo?
Newman replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Memphis Grizzlies Team Forum
+1. Good to hear that Mutombo wants to work with Thabeet as well. -
Wow. That is the worst injury I've seen since the Shaun Livingston injury.

I ran it 10 times and 6/10 the Lakers would lose in the first round.

I've seen the video several times, looks like it did hit his hand. I guess the goals cancelled each other out then.

Knicks were an absolute mess before Donnie Walsh came in and got rid of most, if not all, the bad contracts. At the moment I will go with the Clippers. Even when they get quality players, they never get the best out of them because the core of the team is constantly changing.

Drogba's goal was offside, no doubt. Manchester United were second best though and they should have no complaints.

One word: Stunning.

[Completed] NBA's greatest shooting guard?
Newman replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Exactly what I was thinking. His career achievements, along with his clutch moments, will forever be in the memories of every NBA fan who witnessed him in his prime. -
I would've said Jason Richardson because he is not particularly athletic or anything yet can still do amazing dunks both in-game and in the dunk contest, but he has lost all of that power when he got traded from the Warriors. I would go with Vince Carter because his dunks exceeds my imagination. From jumping over Weis in the 2000 Olympics to the dunk over Zo a few years back, those are dunks that would excite not only the crowd in the stadium, but also anyone watching it on television.

[Completed] NBA's greatest small forward?
Newman replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
I would go with Bird because he is so consistent and deadly with his 3's. I would've said LeBron, but he is too young to be considered the greatest SF and also, I can't really define him as a pure SF as he has played from PG to PF throughout his career. In a way, it shows how versatile he is but I can't really define him as a SF personally. -

Just got the PC patch yesterday and the gameplay have drastically improved. They still haven't fixed the intentional foul problem though.
-
In terms of depth, I would go with the Cavs because they just have so much talent on that team that Leon Powe, a guy who have scored 18+ points in a finals game, is their 12th man. However, come playoff time when only 7-8 players play out of the 12, I'll have to go with the Mavs because they have JET, Dampier/Haywood and JJ Barea, who are all starting material (maybe not JJ in terms of a full-time starter, but he is a more than capable temporary starter)

Hornets could package Peja+Collison

For who? -
Source: LeBron Interested In Playing With Johnson

But the players represent two different style. Danilo and Wilson Chandler are Run'n'Gun type of players while Felton and JJ are better with half-court offense. Just looking at that line-up, 45 wins seems reasonable. -

Not a bad way to get rid of some bad contracts for the Hornets. -

That team would get around 45 wins, that's about it. -
Source: Miami Is Amare's First Preference
Newman replied to The Regime's topic in Miami Heat Team Forum
He'll be the next K-Mart if he leaves Phoenix for any team without a passing PG.
