  1. McGrady is making his shots, which is nice to see. Earlier he was missing layups just because he doesn't have the same lift anymore. I don't even know who this Ivan Johnson is, but the dude is playing hard and taking it right to Chris Bosh. Gotta love the work ethic.
  2. Bynum is finally earning his paycheck...loving it. Kobe with a nice bounce back game too, which is great to see. McRoberts didn't play tonight I noticed...I think Mike Brown is just giving him rest after playing a lot during the first 5 games of the season. Good to see that he's managing minutes for everyone to keep them fresh.
  3. Red Dead Redemption is crack. Been playing that every chance I get since we got it yesterday. All the gifts I gave this year were video games. Dad - Delta Force 10 Year Anniversary Edition Mom - Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Brother - Gears of War 3 Brother - Starfox 3DS I got the last two Assassin's Creed games, and Skyrim. Played a little bit of Skyrim, but I haven't touched the others yet because I can't put down Red Dead.
  4. I think I'm going to like McRoberts this season. Two very sexy plays offensively in the first quarter there. Kobe's shooting lights out too...looks like the extended offseason has done him wonders.
  5. Watching Paul throw alley-oops to Griffin is going to be sexy as hell. Definitely plan on watching more Clipper games this year.
  6. They can't cut Billups. He can retire or play out the season as a Clipper.
  7. Get a wrist rocket slingshot. While everyone else will bring crappy giftcards and whatnot, some lucky dude will get a friggin' slingshot. You can pick them up for like $10 at a sporting goods store. http://www.instructables.com/image/FQZOBD5FVTVXKX8/wrist-rockets-and-sling-shots.jpg
  8. Had to work, but I took the time set up my ranking before hand. Really, really happy with how my team turned out. Could use another SF, but I got plenty of PGs and big men to trade.
  9. http://twitter.com/#!/WojYahooNBA/status/145960870047006721
  10. Can't believe the second deal got shot down as well. What a clown. Oh well, on to Dwight Howard I suppose.
  11. I don't buy it being just a salary dump. Buss and Buss Jr. have no problem dishing out the money to keep us as contenders, and they wouldn't trade away Lamar unless we had something big lined up.
  12. You would post this right as I was going to bed. Curse you and your activity! (no, not really...it's been great) But..OH MY. :yess:
  13. The year was 2005. It was OTR's first NBA draft, and Laker fans were ecstatic because Gerald Green had fallen all the way to us at #10. We were so sure that we would select him, and then the moment of truth came...the Lakers selected Andrew Bynum. Laker fans were furious, selecting an unknown high school kid over the proven Green. The year is 2011. Most people can barely remember Green, while Bynum is in the midst of trade rumors for superstars. Funny how things turn out.
  14. At least with Paul wanting a trade, it gives N.O the chance to get something in return, as opposed to him just walking away for nothing.
  15. Danny Granger had something to say about the trade being blocked. http://twitter.com/#!/dgranger33/status/145027574387580928
  16. What the hell. I go to work hearing all this rumors, see the Chris Paul deal on my break, and then I come home to this? Hearing that management was going to trade Pau and Lamar will obliterate their confidence, how the hell are we supposed to get them to play well again if we end up keeping them?
  17. I don't know, it seems like a big gamble with so many moving parts going on. But I suppose nabbing Paul would make the best case for Dwight to come on over (if he doesn't sign elsewhere first).
  18. Not that I would agree with Houston here, I think their best bet is to go young an rebuild through the draft and free agency. But I can see the allure of landing a star player and going from there.
  19. Wouldn't you guys rather have a few seasons to build something around Gasol, instead of Paul being one-and-done?
  20. When you think about it, it makes sense why Houston would take Gasol instead of gambling on Paul. Paul could very easily walk after this season if N.O traded him to Houston, if N.O doesn't do a sign and trade, and Houston probably wants some sort of guarantee that they'll have someone after this season ends. This might be Paul's way of forcing himself to L.A while N.O get what they want (youth, draft picks).
  21. Clippers may be offering him this contract and then trade him in a package for Chris Paul.
