  1. Rose is a half step quicker but LeBron's quickness is no chopped liver and his superhuman athleticism can help him cover that slight disadvantage. He's good at chase-down shot blocking... and if he can change some of Rose's shots, aka the orhestrator of the Bulls' O, he can change the make up of the entire game, and series. My example on DJ-on-CP3 (Nuggets-Hornets series, 2 years ago) was this. CP3 was too quick for DJ, but DJ was super athletic and physical that it changed CP3's game in the series. Another thing, why I think LeBron can guard Rose is, Rose operates and executes on his athleticism, quickness and strength. But Rose's not a strategist like Billups or CP3 who like to pump-fake and bait their defenders into shooting-fouling them, and causes LeBron to be in foul trouble. You could at least give the guy who finished on First All Defensive Team some benefit of the doubt that he can do this, I believe LeBron can based on my observation of both players.
  2. I think it kinda makes sense to me. Rose is everything on offense for the Bulls. He's athletic, quick, strong. But LeBron can match Rose's athleticism, quickness, and strength. He is on First All Defensive Team, he guarded Rondo in previous series. I remember 2 years ago, we put SG Dahntay Jones on a Chris Paul. Now you'd think CP3's quickness would kill DJ, but DJ's athletic and very physical and they proved to bother CP3 all series. Slowing down CP3 was crucial, it's like cutting off the snake's head. I don't think it's a shot at Bibby or Chalmers. Bibby should know he's old, and Chalmers should know he can't stay in front of Rose. LBJ needs to knock down his shots, but if you can slow down Rose, who's everything to their offense, you're greatly compromising the Bulls' offense. I think credit to LBJ if he can pull this off.
  3. I'm sure Charlie Sheen would have made a better emo character than him he's that terrible.
  4. ^Yea I never really paid attention to sitcoms, then Sheen went on that crazy interview, and my friend was watching the show, and I started a couple and I'm a huge fan now. Fox8 is showing random episodes from random seasons, so I decided to go back to Season 1 online. Watched 22 episodes in 2 days lol I doubt anyone can replace Sheen. Nothing against Kutcher, he's funny, and is a ladies magnet as well... but Sheen has that aura, charm, schmuckness that keeps every character on the show honest. I think that's Harper's (or Sheen's) greatest quality, is that he allows everyone to be comfortably honest/ true to themselves around him. And he wouldn't care. His character is controversial, that's why the negative attention (pressure) is drawn toward him, but he handles it with a schmuck flair. Even if you're not a gay guy, you gotta admit, the guy has special brew in his balls. There's a reason why it's a one of the top rated shows for 7 years... and one of the top rated of all time. When asked why, Jennifer Taylor (Chelsea) said it's because the characters are honest and true to themselves. With a lot of sitcoms, you just think they're talking scripts they remember hours ago... In comparison, after watching TAAHM, I tried to watch "Everybody Loves Raymond" and it just feels lame and boring. With TAAHM, the conversation sounds real-life, because of Sheen's flair. Without Sheen, the show is going to be A LOT different... I'm afraid it'd feel just another scripted sitcom. His flair with women is just badass, noone else dares to go to that territory... that's why it's always engaging. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02c2Qn0bq1o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX52hG1i8vQ
  5. I think they should really try to trade Artest and Walton... If I were the Lakers GM, I would shop Bynum and see if there's a team that believes in his "superstar" potential... and get suckered into trading their own superstar for him. I trust Bynum's skills, but not his health. Would definitely consider the fact that Kobe is getting old, and the franchise is looking for a new superstar that can be the new franchise. Then give Gasol another chance... if he shows signs of unstability then trade him by trade deadline.
  6. I'm outdated but haha... holy crap I just found out Megan Fox plays a character that is Bertha's daughter... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWWg4Jtg-EI like my mentor Charlie
  7. I think Memphis offered higher and C's just were not willing to match...
  8. If you can't get a defensive master who's pretty good at offense like Thibodeau and Pop, then you have to find a coach who's very good at offense which at least will quickly build team chemistry. Defensive coaches like Larry Brown, Jeff Van Gundy, and Mike Brown are all stiffs on offense and probably wouldn't be who the owners are looking for to coach the Lakers. Adelman makes great sense... but I'm always a risk taker, and would like to see how Shaw goes (players like Kobe and Shaq seem to hype him up so much) or even Bill Laimbeer who I think will make a great head coach.
  9. Just watched "Water for Elephants" I think Robert Pattinson is a terrible actor... at least terrible for an emotional character like this. I watched the first hour and he's shy-grinning the whole movie like he's a girl, and talks about 3-4 words... it almost ruined the whole movie. He's best suited for cold character, he makes a good sadist/ murderer character lol What saves the movie is pretty good story, Witherspoon and Waltz's acting. But Pattinson's shy-grinning nearly ruined it all by himself... I'm sure his character is supposed to be "shy", but not this shy. Gets 3/5 from me
  10. Wait... I thought they fired him and then re-hired him? I've been watching this show since Charlie's crazy interview... and it's awesome. Show has been centered on Charlie's sex, drinking, smoking, gambling, and just his badassness... His badassness allows Alan to play a "weak" character, allows Jake to be a cute smartass, allows Bertha to be an ass and still funny, the chics to be sexy and horny without feeling guilty/ feeling like they're whores. Without it, it's not going to be the same. Ashton is a badass in his own way, but he's not Charlie bad. Charlie's need for sex is just so funny. I'm sad to see it go.
  11. I know this, KMart is certainly leaving Denver to join title contenders at veteran minimum. Team he'll most likely sign with is whoever wins the championship this year... or if that team is stacked at PF, he will try to sign with the runner up. Heat can really use KMart. Barring no injuries, KMart has about 1-2 really productive years left in him. Or if Dallas reaches Finals, he can always sign there, since it's his hometown. --- And if Nene (opting out this summer) somehow agrees to sign with Heat for full MLE, it's over. It's unlikely, but I wouldn't rule it out with Nene, he's all about winning.
  12. It may seem like a high price to pay. But considering: - Pau's softness - Bynum's injury history - Dwight is the best center and it's not close, and there's few dominant NBA centers... he can really dominate this L in his prime and be MVPs... this is the guy that single-handedly made the a terrible defensive Magic squad the 3rd best in the L. - Kobe's age that inevitably results in Lakers searching for a new franchise player that fills seats, ... the Lakers have to strongly consider it. In fact, it's crazy if LA refuses this... Dwight is a franchise player that Bynum is never going to be.
  13. He should be a valuable piece to a contending team that needs athleticism. But even so, they will think twice on his price tag.
  14. http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j150/Moe_2/PauFishing.jpg Do you have the original pic?
  15. I think Pau is much better than what he's shown... I just think "playing tough" is a personality clash issue... He has a personality that contradicts the way he's supposed to play, aka "aggressive". But this has been really maddening, it's not acceptable for an all star to go through long stretches like this. It's not that he cannot bounce back, it's more like he doesn't want to... it's almost like he's doing it on purpose.
  16. Knowing how psycho Kobe is with his regimen, I'm sure he was serious when he said they're gonna win this series. If they do, he's a legend, I kind of hope the Lakers do, cuz it'd be a hella exciting Game 7, and I don't really like the Mavs... and it'd validate my decision to buy his shoes.
  17. I know this... I'd rather give Nene (also a free agent) a 4 year, $40 mil contract than giving that to Oden. I'm sure many teams will too.
  18. The eggs seem to come from above not from the front (audience) Unlike most people who hate him, I think he's pretty cool. There's a trait that he has that allows him to handle the massive fame and success. Most adults would be overwhelmed by it, but this kid is unfazed and still able to perform at high, consistent level.
  19. Man I haven't laughed so hard in a long ass time Did he REALLY do that?
  20. This. Obviously, although ZBo had some clutch moments from perimeter, I'd still have Dirk take 3s or perimeter shots. But ZBo is the best offensive player at PF in the paint.
