  1. I'd take Z-Bo over Dirk right now. Dirk is great, Z-Bo is playing best ball at PF. Hard to believe no team but the Grizz wanted him 2 years ago, traded for Q-Rich. I created a thread before the Grizz traded for him, saying if he's worth taking when everyone else basically thought he was a cancer and blackhole. I had wanted the Nuggets to trade for him.
  2. Can't help but notice... $285 per week on 40 hrs? That means you get $7/ hr? Are you an apprentice in any field that gets paid junior wage until you're qualified? If not, you should seek how much is the minimum wage in your area. If you're not apprentice, I do think you're underpaid.
  3. Fish any more nice must-watch movie? I got some free tickets I just watched Thor, pretty bad but the funny parts saved the movie
  4. I just bought Nike Dunk High http://images.sneakernews.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/nike-dunk-high-supreme-08-varsity-red-2.jpg slightly different colors on the red and black And Zoom Kobe V X (can't believe I bought my mortal enemy's shoes, but they're the most comfortable, and I thought they look tight!) http://www.basketballshoesmart.com/bmz_cache/2/2528b6754665e497ea80392ae0536ace.image.300x198.jpg
  5. You, sir, are a stud. 50%? You better not exaggerate. If you don't, good on ya, keep it up!
  6. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh moneeeyyy My favorite method in managing your money Divide your income into: - 10% - Savings - 10% - Investing - 10% - Charity/ tithing - 70% - Expense Explanation: Savings - you'll find you actually have more money than you thought if you make an effort to save your money. Investing - the secret to wealth, here is where your money works for you, e.g. if you buy an item for $100 and sells it for $150 (your $100 goes out and works hard for you, and fetches $150). That's a $50 profit in one move! That item is your "investment". This investment brings only 50% profit. There are investments that bring 100+% profits. Key is to find what those investments are. Would you rather: - your money works hard for you like the example above - your money works lazily for you (like a monthly bank interest) - you work hard for money (like all employees, and finding it hard to be "affluent" financially, let alone "rich") Charity/ tithing - the secret to success... most people would rather keep their wealth to themselves... but you're not truly successful until you use your talent/ wealth/ knowledge/ asset to help other people. "Pure joy comes from giving" - Jack Canfield. Giving away your money will make you see money and world (people around you) from another different perspective you've never had before... and I promise it is going to be a thrilling/ fulfilling experience... Spending - this is where you buy your foods, clothes, bills, rent, entertainment, etc... everything that you spend for yourself falls under this category. Like Savings category above, you'll find you actually have more money than you thought if you make an effort to spend less. Key - - you have to pick a number and be committed to it. For me, my numbers are (16.6% Savings, 16.6% Investing, 16.6% Charity, 50% Expense). If you find it hard to part with 10% of your money for charity purposes, you can always reduce the percentage from 10% to, say, 5%, or 1% (if you're stingy haha). If you find it hard to spend only 70% of your income on Expense, you can increase the number to, say, 75% or 80% (the less the number, the better)... BUT ALL THESE 4 CATEGORIES (SAVINGS, INVESTING, CHARITY, EXPENSE) MUST EXIST. - make sure you take out money from the right category... e.g. don't take out money from your "Investment" and buy a HD TV (it should be under "Expense")... don't take out money from "Charity" and finance your investment (it should be under "Investment")... etc. --- Multi-Billionaire's take: this is I think the most basic/ easy/ comprehensive system to manage your money. If you have a hard time managing your money, adopt this method, and be committed to it, and I promise you will find improvement you've been looking for.
  7. Howard's contract runs through 2012-2013 season, but he can opt out before that final season. In summer, Magic will try to get Howard to sign extension, IF he refuses, then this is Melo's situation all over again. Magic don't want to go to summer of 2012 not getting commitment from Dwight, and then he opts out and walks. They get nothing in return. If DH12 refuses extension this summer, I expect a strong possibility Magic are gonna trade him before or during 2011-2012 season (whenever it starts). They'll trade him than taking risk of losing him for nothing, exactly the same situation Nuggets had with Melo. --- We Nugz have some free agents, but I expect them to resign all (except KMart)... we will have (to offer Magic): Nene, Gallo, Chandler, Felton, J.R. Our untouchable list: Ty, Afflalo, Mozgov. If Magic insist on either Afflalo or Mozgov, we have to give in. Sorry everyone, DH12 is going to Nuggets, because the Magic are going to have to trade him, and noone can beat our package.
  8. I would be speechless... if the cheater smiles nervously, my instinct will take over, I will cut off his dick and shove it down his throat.
  9. I was a "soliDNugget", and then better known as "Snake" But I've always been a secret Multi-Billionaire
  10. We're chumps because of George Karl... we'll never be champs as long as he's here. Anyone want Georgy? Durant was amazing, Ibaka has a bright future, and Westbrook had a great series despite 2 last poor games... these three + Harden and Maynor are gonna creep on the L for 5 years. I wish I was a Thunder fan, but I am NOT... which is okay.
  11. J.R. on the Bulls (Thibodeau), Spurs (Pop), Celtics (Doc) would be unstoppable. These genius offensive coaches would set screens and make plays for him. Karl is an ass, putting 4 guards (Ty, Felton, AA, Chandler) and screaming at them to rebound against the Thunder 7 footers. We couldn't score most of 2nd half, the team was having an exasperated time scoring, and J.R. was mostly on the bench. Bird was having a phenomenal and impact game and he was pulled in for Nene... when the two should have played together. He played KMart tons of minutes when he is non factor both offensively and yes, defensively. Compared to Ibaka, KMart looked like he's 60 years old. The only players fault I see is that they keep missing free throws. The rest fell on the coach. Can we fire a coach in the middle of series?
  12. Karl is just killing us with this small lineup. We're getting beasted on the caroms.
  13. ^Felton's never been a good FT shooter I don't know which side that guy who holds the "Bring back your Seattle Supersonics" sign is on lol I said it well before the series started, our weakness is guarding athletic team. But I find that Bird is an excellent defender against athletic teams, but he is a terrible defender against slow-it-down teams like Lakers/ Spurs. Bird is having a phenomenal game. OKC is defending us very well. To say we work extremely hard for our points is a near understatement.
  14. Roy's a true superstar... he's supposed to be done, but true superstars find a way to rebound and get back to his game shape regardless of his circumstances. It's an amazing performance. I'm happy for him.
  15. This is being televised here on Sunday, I can't believe it... There's never been any NBA game on Sunday before. I'm pumped!!! [expletive] streaming 2-1. Back in it.
  16. --- Another thing is, smartasses tend to know what they want. It's important in life, that you know what you want, otherwise you're direction-less/ don't have a goal.
  17. ^I have to agree... If you're a smartass, you're smart, and you're smart enough to figure out how to get rid of the "ass" part from the "smartass" But if you're a dumbass, you're too dumb to figure out how to get rid of the "ass" part. So not only you're dumb but you're an ass to people too. So I'd rather be a smartass than a dumbass.
  18. Irresponsible dog owners. Me and my niece were feeding some ducks at creek near my place, when a fully grown pit bull went loose and came charging at my niece. I lifted him as high as possible and did a karate kid crane kick motion and the dog hesitated, I stomped my foot on the ground and startled the dog a little, and it turned away... I swear the dog was locked in on my little niece (7 yr old) and was gonna absolutely maul him. When the target became bigger (me), the dog thought twice. It turned out, two 11-13 year old girls were walking the beast when it got loose. How on earth can this be allowed??? Pit bulls are banned in Australia, they will get in trouble once we report them. Luckily my niece was with me. If he was with his mother (my sister), I think they would be in trouble... I've been chased by other dogs too when I'm on my push bike, and the owners casually just call the dogs, do not even try to get them.
  19. I have a feeling Sacha is gonna say "dumbass" lol jk
  20. If you absolutely had to be one of the two, which one would you rather be: a smartass or a dumbass? Smartasses have a reputation of being alienated from society, but they're smart. Dumbasses are more welcome, but they're dumb.
  21. Uh oh PP is hot, Mr Pringles Mexican chilli flavor is hot too screaming from sideline.
  22. I swear the Celtics offense consists of Ray Allen 3 70% of the time... take him out and their offense, with aging KG and PP, is dogshit.
  23. He and his lazy fat divaness are all yours man... Now watch Mozgov beast.
  24. GK did not bash Melo until he left... He played Bird and J.R. 6 minutes each, but somehow the "floodgates explosion" was all on J.R. He never called out Bird, Kenyon, Felton, Ty... but he's calling J.R. because the public has this perception of J.R. as this malcontent, selfish player (when he has demonstrated the opposite the past 1.5 years), and he's the easy target for the public to agree with GK. If there's a loss, it can be blamed on J.R.'s "bad shot selections, non-existent defense"... when GK never stresses defense and all his other players have had some share of bad shot selections. This is the guy who routinely draws 22 foot jump shots for KMart ffs! J.R. has been incredibly patient, cheering for teammates when he doesn't play, never complains in media, is the best passer on the team, easily the most explosive offensive creator, he creates pick and roll, he creates for his teammates, he creates for himself when the others struggle, he maintains "cooler heads prevail" approach with GK. For a perceived "gangsta", he's been incredibly mature as a player and locker room guy. But GK had to go to someone other than himself again, it wasn't J.R.'s fault when we came out flat and unprepared in 1st quarter. GK is truly a coward.
