  1. Kings down by 3, Tyreke fouled on a 3 point attempt with 1.7 seconds left.. or something like that. Tyreke makes the first 2, misses the 3rd. Cousins then misses a tip in. the ball squirts out to Tyreke near the FT line who misses a floater that would have won it. CRAZY ending.
  2. lol. maybe Amir Johnson can get C eligibility in Fantasy Basketball now!
  3. tell me about it. they look awesome and have some great talent but they just can't get enough W's.
  4. NYG D steps up and holds GB to a FG after the Bradshaw Fumble
  5. Thank God the 49ers are now finally eliminated from the playoffs.
  6. The Spurs get a 10+ road trip every year don't they? Isn't there some rodeo BS that takes over their Arena and forces them to play on the road every year for an absurd amount of time?
  7. WinsAboveReplacementPlayer I believe a Replacement player is a player with 0 value. he would be = in WARP... neither negative nor positive...
  8. josh smith/joe johnson andre miller ?
  9. Jose doesn't get paid over 10 million until the last year of his contract...2012-13. i think keeping a PG who has a 9.2/2.5 AST/TO ratio as a starter in 31 minutes is a pretty smart move. he's been shooting 50%+ from the field and 48% from trey. sure his defense sucks, but he more than makes up for that by being a facilitator and knocking down open shots on the offensive end. is it that important for the Raptors to cut down on the league's 15th highest payroll at around 66 million? 15 million is tied up into Peja Stojakavic, so without him they would have the leagues 28th highest payroll. are you going to want to do deal Bargnani next year? he will be making 9 million next year... exactly the same amount as Calderon is making this year. or will you want to deal him when he starts making 10 million... in 2012-13. you realize that once you trade Calderon for that 'quality player' and he develops.... he will most likely be wanting a contract for around the same price that Calderon signed a couple years ago.... and then you are in the same boat. never ending cycle... unless you trade Calderon for a guy that never pans out... then you will save the $ but lose in talent. but hey.... whatever gets your team a better draft pick so you can stockpile on the DeMar DeRozan's of the world. EDIT: BTW, his A/T ratio over the last month is 3rd overall (behind Joe Johnson and Jason Kidd), just ahead of 4th place Chris Paul. On the year Calderon is behind only Kidd and Paul and just ahead of Rondo. Not bad company at all.
  10. "Such exceptions can’t be combined, but individually they could be used to absorb a contract -- such as, for example, the Nuggets’ J.R. Smith’s or Harrington’s -- without sending equal money back." that is what is most likely. i doubt Melo ends up in Houston... but Houston could definitely help Melo find a new address.
  11. when else can a grown man throw a basketball off of another grown man's head and get away with it?
  12. so they trade away a quality player in hopes of getting a young player that can develop into said quality player?
  13. why would you want to deal him? obviously he can still run an offense pretty effectively. he's on a modest contract and hes not exactly old. why not keep him?
  14. http://nba.fanhouse.com/2010/12/23/bobcats-michael-jordan-plots-next-move-in-wake-of-coaching-chan/ Gerald Wallace DJ Augustin Desagna Diop for Marcus Camby Andre Miller
  15. not saying the Magic will have huge interest in dealing for Bynum... i was jut throwing something out there kuz i highly doubt the Magic will want to lose Dwight for nothing that is potentially significant.
