  1. Sorry, I disagree entirely. As do most of the neutral writers I follow on Twitter. You are not a defenseless receiver when you have possession and take two steps. And please man, lay off the fans. You know Giants fans would be booing the flag also. It was a horrible call.
  2. Or maybe they will give him a standing ovation. Of course CBS kills the crowd noise when they are cheering Collie, but pumps it up when they start booing the awful call again. Keep feeding the stereotype...
  3. Absolutely brutal call. Unfortunate that Collie is hurt, but that was not an incomplete pass and he was not a "defenseless receiver". He had possession and took two steps. Terrible.
  4. Key injuries + leaving tons of points on the field in the red zone vs. a Peyton Manning-led team = potential recipe for disaster.
  5. This happened last night, but Jamie Moyer re-injured his elbow in the Dominican League. Probably a career-ender. Sad way for him to go out. Hell of a career, if it is indeed finished.
  6. Haha...we bust each others balls all the time, nothing serious.
  7. Whatever expletive you are using is probably right. Guy is a huge [expletive]. The rare Philadelphia athlete that I can't stand in any way.
  8. I like nothing more than a white dude who can play (check my "favorite player" broseph). Spencer Hawes does not fall into this category.
  9. Fruitcake? These two disagree. http://thefeed.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/wrightreyes_1.jpg And LOLOLOLOL Werthless! Ha!!! I see what you did there! First time I've ever seen that one, methinks.
  10. Wouldn't count on the Giants. Buster Posey and Brandon Belt will have C and 1B locked down for years. The Giants may need a 1B for this season if Belt does not make the roster out of spring training, but Martinez will probably be looking for a big contract.
  11. Dayn Perry's predictions aren't really worth [expletive] to me, that guy is an idiot. Respect the others though.
  12. David Perron is out tonight with concussion-like symptoms as a result of that Thornton hit. And to think that some said he was faking it....
  13. Hah, it's doubtful. As for tonight's game, JVR is a healthy scratch. Wellwood, Nodl, and Zherdev all in the lineup. Hopefully this lights a fire under JVR's [expletive] like it did for Zherdev last week. When Briere gets back tomorrow, this is going to get very interesting.
  14. There is a lesson in this for all of us: Don't watch ESPN, don't read ESPN. Unless your team is playing and the game is on ESPN.
  15. Haha...you can take Jeff Carter. Speaking of Carter....nothing against him, really, but he needs to be traded this season. We have one too many "top line caliber" centers, so one of them has been on the wing at all times this season. Doesn't do anybody any good. Plus, Claude Giroux needs to be locked up long term right now. No way they can keep Giroux and Carter both. Carter is a good offensive player, Giroux has future super star written all over him. Easy decision if you ask me. Plus, Carter's trade value will never be higher.
  16. As I was saying, I am willing to give Prust the edge, but I'd hardly call it an [expletive] kicking. Shelley-Boogaard on the other hand...that was an [expletive] kicking. Everyone knew that fight was coming, and the outcome was pretty predictable, haha. But then again, when does Booger ever lose a fight?
  17. Wondering if Brian Boucher will ever start again for the Flyers. I expected him to go tonight vs. the Islanders, since it's the first night of a back-to-back, but Bob gets the call again. And I'd be very surprised if they play Boosh against Washington tomorrow. Michael Leighton is supposedly way ahead of schedule with his rehab also, so Boucher looks like he will eventually be the odd man out.
  18. Not to take anything away from the Cavs, but the Sixers team defense is absolutely horrific. That may be an understatement actually. Especially without Iguodala.
