ALCS Discussion: New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers

Ernie Johnson is brutal as play-by-play guy. He has no clue what is going on. -

Oh, I wasn't even talking about this game. Just in general. It's a total fraud and it's amazing that some people actually think they are accurate. -

TBS' Pitch Trax needs to die...right now. As does Fox's...and ESPN's....and any other station that has one. Biggest farce in pro sports. -

Whoever had "final out of the top of the 1st" in the "when will we have our first blown call in game 6" pool, you are a winner! Took just as long for Ernie Johnson's first terrible call, too. Even if that throw would have somehow rightly gotten Granderson out, the ball Molina threw was hardly a "strike", EJ. EDIT nevermind he was out! Still a terrible call by EJ though! -
Is he still rocking Gaston the lumberjack?

All I know is that if a certain guy that wears orange and #13 did that, he'd be sitting for a lot longer than 6 games. Same goes for a lot of guys, probably. Pretty sad how biased the league is with this stuff. I know track record should play into the decision, but not this much.

Only 6 games for Rypien. Wow...I was expecting way more.

You are right, I didn't realize it was this bad though. Supposedly 20,000 total tickets still available for games 6 and 7. Good lord. -

Wow....that's a bargain for this close to game time. -
I was actually surprised to find the Giants have a slightly lower hitter BABIP (as of 2 innings ago...with such a small sample size it is changing rather drastically with literally every batter). If you want the up to date BABIP, here is the formula... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BABIP Anyway, I will eat my crow about the BABIP line, but I stand by everything else I said about the Giants being a bit luckier.

You are a troll. Have you read any of my commentary throughout this series? I have given plenty of reasons for why they are down 3-1. Luck is a big one, but certainly not the only one. They have brought much of this on themselves. Cannot deny the Giants luck this series though (up until this inning anyway).

They rarely hit and run, the one time they do it works perfectly, and Doc induced a tailor made double play that Utley botched. Again, breaks all going to Giants. As for Halladay...I guarantee you he was staring at Jeff Nelson. Pat is just an oversensitive prick, and always has been. (Loved him for that when he was here, BTW).
