Well it wasn't clear until the end that they were mocking it, but yes, basically. I don't think SABR people were too offended, though. It was pretty funny for both sides, I think.

So, last night the Phillies drew a higher local TV rating than the Eagles. This is monumental. 2 years ago there was an identical situation. Phillies had a chance to clinch the NLDS vs. Milwaukee on TBS and the Eagles had a regular season game at the same time on network TV, and the Eagles ratings crushed the Phillies. Totally the opposite last night. Football town my [expletive]!

The Simpsons made fun of Sabermetrics on their episode last night and it was glorious!!

I was actually hoping the Flyers could find a way to get Griess before the season started. Not so much anymore, though. Not unless Bob totally falls off the face of the planet.

And Brooks Conrad is out of the lineup tonight.

So, 2 of the 3 Eagles wins this year have been horrendous efforts against terrible teams. Most deceiving 3-2 record of all time.

This would be absolutely monumental if the Eagles lose. If they blow this, we might see wholesale changes. For the good of the franchise maybe that is what they need... Either way, this Eagles team is a gigantic piece of [expletive] right now.

The fans that piss me off the most are the ones who live in their particular team's city, and have for their entire life, but don't become fans until the team gets good. And when they do become fans, they know absolutely nothing about the team/sport/whatever. I've been dealing with tons of people like this with the Phillies recently. So annoying.

As usual, TBS does not show one helpful replay.

Honestly....time to get Brooks Conrad off the field. There has to be a better option.
