Polly, along with Ruiz, are the only 2 guys in this lineup with the patience and eye to potentially give Sanchez issues, so he definitely needs to be hitting between Utley and Howard.

I just don't get how when Kolb plays well, it is "he is beating a [expletive]ty defense", but when Vick plays well against [expletive]ty defense, there isn't a word about it. It is a two way street.

It's one game. But still an absolutely horrific sports day. Lincecum was not sharp, Phillies had him on the ropes but could not get the "big hit" (except for Werth I guess). Whatever, just get them tomorrow. Next 2 are must wins.

Yeah this makes me a bit nervous, although if I remember correctly, Mark DeRosa and Eli Whiteside did most of the damage in that game.

Also, I am tempted to go down to the Complex and just chill there for a while to soak in the atmosphere. There is also a Flyers-Penguins game tonight, so it's going to be a mad house down there. But I probably won't go since it will make me depressed that I don't have tickets to either game .
