Lol. Trade reportedly falling through because Lopez failed his physical. We were going to get him for Valle and Cloyd. What a great trade that would have been. The stellar year for Philadelphia sports continues.

Looks like BJ Upton is going to the Braves. Meh. It's nice to keep the first round pick I guess (for now).

Sweet. Wilton Lopez. Waiting to hear what we are sending to Houston. Most beat writers are saying it's a catcher and a reliever. Valle and Schwimer maybe? We'll see. As long as it isn't DeFratus or Aumont I'll be happy.

25 game suspension for Chooch. Like, really, can this year get any worse?

I am a big Barkley fan, but it's all a crapshoot anyway. Hopefully we don't need to take a QB, but with the way Foles has looked, we may have to. Also, good riddance to Jason Babin. Very curious timing. I am not sure there is a less likable athlete in Philadelphia on this side of Spencer Hawes, so there's that. Also it will be nice to see more of Vinny Curry in these last few games. And from what I have read, the Eagles don't owe Babin another dime, even if he isn't claimed by another team.

Glad this show learned its lessons from last season. S3 is much better. Unfortunately I got some spoilers before the season from some of my asshole co-workers who have read the comic books, but it's still been very enjoyable.

Yeah, the Jrue thing is kind of odd. Sort of a bizarro contract year. Starts hitting his potential AFTER signing the new deal, haha. No complaints from me though! Just makes me more upset that we won't be able to see him work together with Bynum for a while, if ever.

On the bright side, Thaddeus was incredible. More of that please. Was nice to see he and Turner step up when Jrue got into foul trouble.

Disappointing. Officials were atrocious from my view, but I am at the game so I may be missing some small things. Amazed we even got it to OT.

I enjoy hockey more than any sport other than baseball, so I will be back. As will 99% of fans of big market teams, with the exception possibly being pissed off season ticket holders who lost money this year. But I know the Flyers pretty much have a season ticket waiting list, as do most popular teams I think. So no loss there. And small market fans don't really exist to begin with. So nothing is going to change, and Bettman knows it. Which is probably why he has no problem dragging this out.

How can you tell this? He is sitting on the sidelines in street clothes.

I am well prepared. Expecting the worst for sure. This particular report seems a bit strange to me though. Just not totally sure how an uninformed doctor can make a diagnosis like that based only on the reports the Sixers are releasing, which are likely far from the truth anyway. But yeah, it certainly doesn't seem good.

I'll wait until I hear it from the doctor who actually knows something about Bynum's knees.

That is my ideal situation too, but if Foles doesn't show them anything, I think they'll have to pick a QB really early, probably first.

Yeah, no second-guessing the trade. It was 100% the right move, although it just sucks that it's not working out thus far. As we both know from watching this team for the past ten years or so, they had to take a risk. I've had enough of watching this team stuck in neutral. I love Iguodala, but with that contract and with him as the "team leader", it was hard to see them taking the next step and legitimately contending. A healthy Bynum potentially changes all of those things. Easy to second guess it now, but the team had to take a risk like that.

The traffic situation outside is hell on earth. Took me an hour longer than usual to get here. Hence the late arriving crowd. Also, why does it seem like I am the only person over the age of 20 here? Sixers crowds these days are 75% prepubescent children, it seems. Quite annoying.
