We overcame a sixteen-point deficit coming into the second quarter. Nice support from the crowd despite the blizzard. Ammo said that Nets fans are the best fans in the NBA in his postgame interview.

Much closer game than we wanted. We were tested in the final minutes on the homestand once again. Cleveland took advantage of our carelessness early on, and we had to fight our way back in the second half.

Mono sent his progress back, and he had to work his way back to it. He still may have to spend some more time in the weight room to complete that comeback. But it doesn't mean it won't allow him to get stronger. Along with his disadvantage when boxing out, the fact that he's not as strong may contribute to Avery setting up Brook differently than Frank (and our coaches last year) did. So we made the smart decision and gave the ball to a posting up Lopez. We don't see that as much as we should, in my opinion. The no-call with Hollins hitting Lopez on the back is frustrating for Cleveland. Very sloppy game for both teams. That first half was tough to watch, but we eventually found our way in the second half.

Off to the game tonight. I bought the tickets through a promotion for "Social Media Night." It was available to any followers of the Nets' social media pages. All the people who used the promotion are sitting in one section, and it was sold out, so I'm looking forward to sitting in a section full of Nets fans. We are being recorded by YES during the first timeout of the second quarter. There's also an autograph session with Harris and Humphries after the game.
