If I've ever had a better experience at a Nets game, I don't remember it. Great atmosphere, incredible seats, and the game was intense. These were probably the best seats I've ever had. You could see some flaws in our play coming out of the fact that the team still had not had a practice since Deron arrived. We still hung in there. The defense didn't seem as bad as it was in Houston. Morrow's 9 points in the final 22 seconds was unforgettable. As for the Humphries putback, I sensed that the lights flashed while the ball was in his hands. Ah. The only thing is "fake" is the wrong word for people to use to begin with. In most, if not all cases, these people have accepted Islam and are misunderstanding it or are using it to justify their actions.

Nets flew into London early Tuesday morning and have had their first practices since D-Will's arrival. Prokhorov is flying into London Friday morning and plans to meet Deron and the rest of the team. If he doesn't, then needless to say it's a shame. That being said, I say we can call it a great deal without having to wait for the following reasons. 1) We saw how the 2010 offseason went, and we saw multiple indications that Melo was reluctant to play for the Nets. Our FO can be comprised of genius minds, we can be advertising a move to Brooklyn in less than two years, etc., but the fact that we are in New Jersey right now has seemed to hurt us time and time again. In a superstar-driven league, when the Nets have no superstars to begin with, it got to the point where it was necessary to trade for one rather than waiting for another episode of free agency/Melo-esque drama. 2) It's been a while since the Nets were not viewed as a joke (or maybe a 12-70 record made it feel like it's been much longer than it really has been). It got to the point where the fanbase and the front office was no longer in favor of the waiting game. 3) Prokhorov drove up the price for Melo and King acquired Deron for a much cheaper price. Job well done.

Brooks, Wallace, Miller/Przybilla, Gallinari/Mozgov, and Thornton have all been mentioned as targets for the Nets. They seem to be exploring all their options, because some deals look less likely than others.

It looks like Harris is on his way out before the deadline for sure. If Jersey doesn't deal Troy to Golden State, Murphy could be sent alongside Devin in a trade. Harris, Murphy, and picks are all that have been mentioned.
