Deron Williams.

I hated Aaron Brooks so yes I would.

There is no denying that Kevin Martin is a poor defender but he at the very least gives an effort on the defensive end, so if it were up to me I would bounce him off of that list but that is probably my homerism talking. Other than that though I agree with this list.

I can't wait for First Take tomorrow. This entire week Skip Bayless has been GOLD.

So does anyone know what happens to the draft and free agency if the lockout happens? If that doesn't work out for you, there is always soccer.
-
What do you mean Cleveland still sucks? I seem to recall them winning 60+ games for 2 consecutive seasons. If they land Kyrie Irving or Perry Jones then they already have a better future than the Raptors. No offense to BFT and CMS though.

I love how everyone thinks all these losses fall on Lebron. He's missed a lot of good looking shots in crunch time but last time I checked, Dwayne Wade (who has won a ring and you don't win one of those and Finals MVP without 'leadership') and Chris Bosh and Eric Spoelstra and the rest of the Miami Heat are all losing these games. They need to figure things out before playoff time or else they will be in trouble. Honestly though I'm not expecting Miami to win it this year, not with this supporting cast but hey maybe I'm wrong.

I don't know. The Magic were playing some tough defense on the inbound play and I'm not sure if Miami had another timeout and time was running so they were forced to throw it to whoever was open, which happened to be Bosh camping out in three point land. Either that or I totally misremembered that entire play.

Lebron has to be the most unclutch superstar ever. My God...

Top 5 players in draft your team should be targeting?
Dash replied to AboveLegit's topic in NFL Football
Houston Texans 1. Patrick Peterson - one of the top players in the draft and easily the top CB, desperately need one here in Houston. 2. Prince Amukamara - Corner... 3. Oliver Miller - superb linebacker, would fit in the 3-4 just fine. 4. Julio Jones - our offense is only great in the second half of games, we lack consistency and we can't always look to Andre Johnson to save us. Jones looks like a beast, he would be the perfect complimentary WR to Andre. 5. Any good linebacker or pass rusher. -
Brooks did pretty good, glad to see him doing well in Phoenix. Always though that they were a good fit for him.

I realize that, I was just making an example. Paul does have a more talented team but he also plays in a more competitive conference. Anyways Chris Paul is in a funk right now and his teammates have failed to help take some of the load off of him. Having the best defensive team in the league is nice and all but when you don't have a closer besides Paul, who hasn't been himself lately, then you're going to be in some deep shit. I don't know if its fair to blame the injury from last season, he was terrific earlier in the season and the Hornets were winning games and sitting atop of the conference. Seems too convenient to use that injury excuse for him but for all I know the injury has gotten worse over the course of the season, so whatever. Chris Paul is the best point guard in the world regardless. Saying he's 3rd or 4th because of a one month stretch is blasphemy.

Good point but the thing that scares me the most about the Spurs is that you can shut down one of their big 3, and it wouldn't make that much of a difference. Spurs got crazy talent and depth on their roster, anyone on their roster is capable exploding for 20 or more points on a given night. Not to they are a terrific defensive unit with Popovich at the helm. I can see the argument against the Lakers too considering they got Kobe, Pau and a sheer size advantage. Pick your poison Rockets but I hope the poison they end with is the Spurs/Lakers. Adelman is loyal to the players that have already been on the roster for a while. He wouldn't sit them even if it were a rebuilding season. True enough, Morey makes terrific draft picks at the position he is picking at but that doesn't mean he can't get better prospects. e.g. I would rather have Greg Monroe on the Rockets than Patrick Patterson although both guys are great, but Monroe is definitely the better player and prospect and could have been obtainable had the Rockets tanked last season. Did you see Bud play earlier in the season? Dude was awful. Patterson's minutes have been a bit inconsistent but I'm satisfied with what he is getting right now. Battier was starting because he was better equipped to get us in the playoffs. No one knew this season would be as bad as its been and like I already posted, Adelman does not like playing guys that he's not familiar with and/or are too young. He is ALWAYS looking to win games and get us into the playoffs.

He's doing everything he can to get his team to win games but the supporting cast around him isn't helping much. Stats don't tell the whole story, yes the team is collapsing but that doesn't mean its entirely on him. Take Deron Williams for example, the 16 assists he's averaging as a Net are spectacular but he's also scoring 14 ppg on 33% and has yet to get a win in New Jersey.

A growing team like the Wolves is expected to lose that many games. They'll be fine, playoff team in a couple of years maybe.

Lol while this is true, it has been working pretty well for Minnesota considering that they don't give up much for these guys.
-
LOL nah just rooting for my team like I have been "all season long". :glasses:

^Steal one of the Spurs games coming up and maybe this loss will cancel out. Still I'm so pissed right now, I don't know how I'm going to go to class tomorrow.
-
Seriously the one freaking game I actually needed the Rockets to win. Well [expletive]... 14-5 now to get in. -_-

The hell was that last play Lowry?
-
Wow we had so many opportunities down the stretch but no one could make the big shot. That 3 point shot foul and the tip in by Gordon (or Hayes?) killed us.
-
Good lord Kyle Lowry is legit...tight game right now, our dynamic two (Scola and Martin) need to get it together.
