Suns are definitely up there although they have traded away some of their good prospects (Rondo, Fernandez). Rockets and Blazers are a few other teams that usually draft well.
-
On an even brighter note, Patrick Patterson tore it up in the d-league. 22 points (10-14), 9 rebounds, 3 blocks and a steal.
-
Pure scoring point guards like Brooks are better suited for the bench. However, I don't think Brooks is going to be very happy about a demotion.
-
Yeah Brad's stroking it. If only he could rebound...or defend. As for Brooks and Yao returning, bring them both off the bench. Like you said Lowry is playing some of the best basketball of his career, let Aaron come off the bench for just one game and see how it goes. Yao is limited in minutes anyways so I don't see how bringing him off the bench is going to be much of a difference. Chemistry, like the first 5 games this team was healthy, is definitely going to be an issue.

The only rumor I ever heard this season was Bosh for Scola/Lowry and that was per Ric Bucher and Hoopsworld and it was more of a trade idea really.
-
Good lord I knew Bud was struggling but I had no idea his numbers were this awful. 8.3 points per game on 37% shooting and 23% from behind the arc. His stats the past 5 games are even worse. I like Bud but dude is an empty space when his shot is not falling.
-
Ariza will be forever red.
-
Well its hard to get rebounds when both teams are shooting above 50%. Speaking of Chase Budinger, Ariza had 21 points. :glasses:
-
Because people love to speculate.
-
Rough night for Jordan Hill. 21 minutes and he only had 3 rebounds and a block to show for it.
-
Win 3 games in a row? Now that would be something.
-
Obviously he was fouled.
-
Trevor Ariza: 21 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals
-
Martin, Miller and Lowry's stats were unreal. Great game from all three of them and easily Lowry and Miller's best games as Rockets.
-
His fifth was just as bad. Darko got the tip in but one of the referees felt he went over the back of one of the Spurs players although there wasn't anyone close to him. Regardless Darko wasn't going to stop the Wolves from folding as they did. Flynn needs to get back already.
-
^Beasley fell asleep on that play, he tends to do from time to time. Offensively the offense was stagnant all 4th quarter long. Personally I felt they weren't going to Beasley enough and tried forcing it down low too much. Plus Brewer took some stupid shots.
-
Beasley back, Wolves were looking completely lost offensively without him. Still a tight game, Minny holding a 6 point lead.
-
Spurs making a run, lead cut 9.
-
Beasley is hurt, rolled his ankle on that last play. Hope he is okay, and able to return.
-
Wow wolves up 15 at the end of the third. Pop just got ejected.
-
What happened to BELIEVING??
-
Martin is almost averaging 3 points per shot (he has 25 points). Amazing.

Ric Bucher Says Rockets Have "No untouchables."
Dash replied to htown11's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
I know that the Rockets have been full surprises the past couple of years but I feel like all the fun and games are over for us, not enough left in the tank. No identity, defense or consistency is a recipe for disaster. I just don't see how the Rockets are going to get themselves out of this one. Blind hope isn't going to get us anywhere but bring more disappointment. If the Rockets go on a 5 game winning streak then I'll start to show some belief in them, but honestly I don't even think we can accomplish that. Good post, sums it up. -

Because we all know Yao is one trip over the suitcase away from missing the season! You realize we have to win 65% or so of our remaining games? Can you imagine how deep of a hole the Rockets would be in if they have another subpar month? Morey himself realizes the kind of situation we're in. Sadly we don't have the luxury of playing in the East. -

Highly doubt Miami trades away Bosh so quickly. Anyways there was a very interesting quote from Morey in a interview with Rockets.com's Jason Friedman. I agree that is definitely a make or break month for us and its good to hear that Morey isn't going to be delusional about making the playoffs if we do continue to lose.
