  1. I love how Rick is playing Jordan Hill in the 4th more often now. He's finally beginning to show some faith in him.
  2. Didn't look like a foul but I'll take the 3 freebies.
  3. WOW what a shot by Kobe. Battier was all over him and he hit the fadeaway. Battier for his third 3 pointer :o
  4. Ugh that was a terrible defensive play, no one boxed out. Battier had it but then tripped. -_-
  5. Martin's shot finally starting to drop in the second half.
  6. Read the rest here. Live to fight another day.
  7. I have newfound respect for Spoelstra.
  8. Terrible loss for the Rockets. Someone on clutchfans pointed out that he Rockets would need to go 45-20 for the remainder of the season in order to win 50 games, which is the requirement to make the playoffs in the West. That is 69% winning percentage from now and the rest of the season. In 82 games that is 57 wins, which was actually the best case scenario for the Rockets this season. Our chances are not looking good right now.
  9. Orton is definitely going to interfere in the main event. No way he's a no show unless he seriously got injured.
  10. [insert Nets and Wolves fans gloating about taking Favors/Johnson here]
  11. How is that possible when the article and what we've been hearing all season point to Spoelstra simply being himself? The players have made it clear, they want to have fun and Spoelstra is not letting them go out to recess.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dhOwhxW1Po I haven't seen Battier play so well on both ends of the floor in a long time. Nice to see some signs of life from him. Durant was held to 18 points on 7-18 shooting and also only allowed Durant to get to the free throw line just twice.
  13. Also good to see Battier performing well. GREAT overall game from him, his defense on Durant was spectacular.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNhDf9hEpfE&feature=player_embedded My goodness. Wow.
  15. Whatever slim chance the Texans had of making the playoffs just went out the window. But it was [expletive]ing worth it.
  16. I get what you're saying but you have to understand that it is so much easier when you have one dominant wing and one dominant big rather than two dominant wings AND an all-star big man. Miami would be struggling even with Riley right now imo. More specifically its Lebron James and Dwayne Wade. Chris Bosh will always be the third wheel but Lebron and Wade are both trying to play batman.
  17. This player meeting should be about how they're going to adjust to one another and build chemistry, not starting a coup against Spoelstra.
  18. Nooo this ruins my tanking plans. Oh well maybe we still suck.

  19. Whoa what did I miss?

  20. This. He may be immature and a real headcase but you don't give up on the 5th pick in the draft so quickly. Cousins has A LOT of talent and potential and the duo of Cousins-Evans could become one of the best one-two punches in the NBA in a few years. Just give it some time, what the Kings should be doing right now is surrounding Cousins and Evans with mature veterans to provide some direction. Carl Landry is a great locker room presence but a Samuel Dalembert is the exact opposite, guys like him need to hit the road.
  21. Unless we can get him on the cheap I'd much rather just wait a couple more weeks till we at least try to trade for him. If Yao isn't healthy then Iggy will push us to being a borderline playoff team (at least in the West) and that absolutely ruins our draft position. IMO we need to see how the Rockets perform and how healthy Yao will be before making a big move. Even then I'm not sure if Morey will be able to obtain him as he's been trying pry him from Philly since last season and to no avail. Anyways I think its becoming blatantly obvious that Iggy needs to go if Turner is to develop into the franchise player he was hyped up to be. Yesterday he was 0-2 for 0 points, it was his third game this season without a point
