  1. Woj is claiming that the union is downplaying the progress they made yesterday because they don't want teams and players expecting a deal the very next day like what happened the last couple of weeks. They actually made significant progress on 3 of the 5 system issues the players wanted. The biggest obstacle is going to be whether or not the owners are able to ratify the new CBA.
  2. Its been 10 hours now, not that the length of the meeting really matters as we've learned the past couple of weeks but just throwing it out there.
  3. Sounds like they're going to duke it out for a while longer.

  5. 80 from giantbomb, all I needed to see.
  6. Update per Woj: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-wojnarowski_nba_lockout_kobe_bryant_110711
  7. Sounds like the players assocation WON'T be holding a vote, possibly because Fisher and Hunter want to reject the NBA's offer without even listening to the players they're "representing" even though a lot seem to be willing to take the deal on the table (Kobe Bryant, Steve Blake, and Kevin Martin have all been vocal about taking the offer recently and holding a vote). I've brought up how greedy the owners have been before but the stupidity of the NBAPA seems to be on a similar level. Its too late to decertify, they're not going to get a better deal than what is already on the table (50-50) and the owners seem more capable of holding out than the players and will only increase their demands after Wednesday. Just take the damn deal.
  8. More tweets: That last tweet is pretty big.
  9. So basically the owners are getting greedy even though the players dropped it to 51/49, the union will likely turn down the final offer Wednesday followed decertification which would most likely mean a lost season.
  10. No one, its just different magazines/sites handing out the awards. Personally I think Gamespot is pretty wack (one writer was fired a couple years back because he gave a bad review for a game that allegedly was paying the site or something like that) and IGN kinda sucked when I used to use it for reviews years back (not sure how it is now or how their awards go).
  11. Never played Red Dead Redemption but Uncharted 2 was a definite good buy.
  12. So the union and the owners are both split...chances of a season aren't looking good.
  13. I wouldn't mind trying him out at center although that experiment could bust pretty bad and it sounds like the 4 is the position he's most suitable for.
  14. Well its working because I really want to get it.
  15. New trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL6fOoX9ilE Already pre-ordered my limited edition bundle.
  16. Wouldn't picking up Skyrim would be worse? Uncharted 3 is like an 8-10 hour game and Skyrim has so much shit in it that you can spend like 100 hours playing it.
  17. I used to love this series but I haven't owned a game (or played any in the series) since San Andreas. After that I just stopped, they all started to feel the same to me and I never really cared for the story.
  18. 1. Halo 2 2. NBA 2k series 3. Fire Emblem series (10, 9, 4, 5) 4. Legend of Zelda series 5. Resident Evil 4 & 5 6. Uncharted series 7. WWF No Mercy 8. Super Smash Bros Melee 9. Pokemon red and yellow version 10. Final Fantasy series
  19. Yeah there isn't any point in using it unless the front office wants to create a bit more cap space to better their chances at someone like Nene, but would be a waste if we didn't land him. There is something about the amnesty cut that I have been wondering about. It says the player about to be cut has to have been signed before July 1, 2011 but it doesn't specify anything about having to use it on a player that was on your roster at the time (at least I don't think so). If a team that doesn't necessarily need to use the amnesty on one of their own players, would take back a bad contract and pick up an asset or two in a trade (hypothetically lets just say the Pistons trade Richard Hamilton plus a protected first round pick to the Rockets, etc) and then use their amnesty on the contract (Hamilton). Sounds like something I was expect Morey to do if it were possible.
