This loss is all on Derrick Rose, Deng and Boozer were both have strong offensive games but Rose refused to go to them down the stretch in the fourth. The last two possessions before regulation ended were even worse...awful, awful shots by Rose. I don't understand why he took 26 shots when he had a 6-9 athletic freak hounding him.

That last shot by Lebron...

Manchester United vs Barcelona Finals are this weekend. Personally I despise both teams (hate ManU less so I'm going for them) but its a very strong finals matchup.

http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/66/united-states/2011/05/23/2500085/united-states-announces-roster-for-this-summers-gold-cup Freddy Adu is the surprise addition but if Bob Bradley believes in him then its fine by me. Hopefully Altidore doesn't choke like he did in the World Cup.

The bold part pretty much says it all about how Wenger has handled the transfer window for the past year. He only seems to care about signing young players that he can groom for the next few years except Arsenal is in need of veteran help. That said, I would love to get Benzema because Arsenal has done an incredible job of creating chances this year (most shots in the league) but they can never finish. Benzema fits the bill but prying him away from Real Madrid isn't going to be easy.

Over 25% of WM7 performers have died
Dash replied to Real Deal's topic in MMA, Wrestling and Boxing Forum
Wow that is ridiculous. I think it says a lot about the WWE as a company when so many of their employees have died from causes that are/might be drug related. Jeff Hardy might be the only wrestler they ever caught with a drug problem and that is only because it was so obvious. -
In Chad Ford's latest mock draft, he has Milwaukee passing on Burks for Thompson.

Raptors Tanking/Draft Anticipation

Chad Ford mock draft 3.0 He also has the Cavs taking Kanter with the 4th pick and Walker slipping to the Kings. -
Chad Ford mock draft 3.0 Reggie Jackson has been impressing a lot of teams, dude has a great NBA body and a good work ethic to go along with it. Apparently the Celtics have promised to that they will take him at the 25th pick if he was available. Jackson would be the 3rd point guard on the roster and gives the Rockets a backup plan for next season when Goran Dragic's contract expires. Dragic has been very impressive and I hope that he's a Rocket for many years to come but if he's going to cost the Rockets a big contract to keep him around then it might be time to move on from him, and play a much cheaper backup to Lowry. However, I am still much in favor of taking an international prospect at this pick and stashes him away in Europe for a few years. Something to take note of is that Ford has Donatas Motiejunas dropping all the way to the 20th pick. Hamilton wouldn't be a bad pick for the Rockets but it would be tough for them to pass up on a center oozing with potential like Motiejunas. Edit: also Ford lists his top 5 prospects for the 2nd round and ranks Lucas Nogueira (assuming he was ranking them instead of placing them in a random order) as going 34th. Nogueira is an extremely raw prospect out of Brazil but he's got great potential to be a defensive anchor in the NBA, if he slips a bit further to the Rockets at #36 then that would be a HUGE steal.

Kurt Rambis "expected" to be fired
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
Rambis attends draft workouts. http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5hSulsfqWyzTI-JrZfc_VG6iOqjYg?docId=6934712 Ridiculous how the Wolves management is handling this but kudos to Rambis for preparing for the draft despite not knowing his status with the team. -
Sam Amick is reporting that the Rockets are interested in moving up for Kawhi Leonard or Enes Kanter. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/sam_amick/05/23/predraft.camp.wrap/index.html I would be okay with moving up for Leonard only if the price was right but for Kanter, do whatever it takes.

Rockets looking to move up in draft ; potential trade with Kings?
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Christ, looks like I'm wrong again. Sam Amick is reporting that the Rockets are interested in moving up for Kawhi Leonard or Enes Kanter. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/sam_amick/05/23/predraft.camp.wrap/index.html -
He signs the steal of the 2010 free agency (Wesley Matthews) and then trades for Gerald Wallace and gets fired? What a mess of a franchise.

Rockets looking to move up in draft ; potential trade with Kings?
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
The gap between the players expected to go in the top 8 and the latter half of the lottery is big enough that I think its going to cost us at least a rotational player or a future first round pick. The 14th + 2nd round/late first rounder to move up 7 slots sounds almost too good to be true. Speaking of the Kings, if they can't snag one of the two point guards then I'm assuming that they're going to be targeting a 4 they can plug in next to Cousins. -

Rockets looking to move up in draft ; potential trade with Kings?
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Leonard is going to be a very good NBA player and is definitely one of the more "safer" prospects available, but I still don't see why the Rockets would give up anything significant just to move up for him. If we move up it should be for a center or someone we believe has all-star potential. Leonard isn't either one of those and therefore I would be okay with settling for Singleton. -
^And Legend of Zelda. I wonder if we're going to get any news on Dragon Age 3, the second game just came out but still I'm hoping for something.

Hoping that they announce The Last Story for a US release, its the best looking japanese rpg in a while.

The article says that Josh Smith prefers to play the 4 instead of the 3, so how does this make sense for the Clippers?

I've been intrigued with Jeremy Tyler before the combine and its no surprise to me that the Rockets are showing interest especially after his performance last week. I would be okay with picking Tyler with our 23rd pick. Rockets have been rumored to be enamored with Fredette earlier in the season and they have a workout with him scheduled. Jordan Hamilton also linked to the Rockets. I think he would make a decent pick at 14 but a Hamilton-Budinger tandem would be rather redundant because both are gunslingers and neither play much defense. The difference between the two as prospects is that Hamilton is oozing with potential and could be a #2 or #3 option if developed. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/blog?name=nba_draft&id=6578427&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnba%2fblog%3fname%3dnba_draft%26id%3d6578427

Breaking down the Rockets' head coach candidates
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
Think of it as a developmental period. Not only are we going to develop our youth but Morey also wants to groom a coach that he thinks has the potential to be great (enter McHale). Casey was my pick early on but McHale works so much better with players and could do wonders for our big men, and considering that the Rockets are looking to rebuild it only makes sense they're going with him. Also I think it says a lot about Rick Adelman as a coach, he was one of the main reasons a team that was expected to finish in the bottom 3 or 5 in 2010 ended up winning 40+ games. Thing is that the Rockets missed the playoffs and would have likely preferred the top 5 draft pick going forward. And Adelman wasn't playing some of the young guns *cough*T-Will*cough* but Kevin McHale will.
