  1. I don't think we should move either Scola or Martin unless we're going into a rebuilding stage. Both guys would make a great compliment next to a superstar and I think its about time Morey lands one with all the assets he has. An aggressive Biedrins would be a solid addition although Jonas seems to have far more potential defensively.
  2. Honestly I think I'm beginning to lean towards keeping Adelman especially if he's having that kind of effect on the players. Class act by the Rocket roster.
  3. As high as I am on Rubio, his struggles this season are a bit concerning (no reason to panic at all) and moving him for a productive veteran might be wise in their case. Derrick Williams and Harrison Barnes would be great (Barnes especially) but Wesley Johnson seems to have solidified his spot on the team and Beasley has shown some flashes of being a legit top 2-3 scorer. Plus there is also the risk that Rubio doesn't sign because of his contract situation if there is indeed a lockout (no matter how short it is) and Minnesota has to wait ANOTHER season before he finally joins the team. I wouldn't be surprised if Kahn decides to keep Rubio and play 2 point guards major minutes in the rotation kind of like the 80's Pistons style. This was the plan when he drafted Flynn at least. Besides Kahn wants to rebuild the fanbase and a trio of Irving - Beasley - Love would do just that especially if they can crack 30 wins.
  4. Lulz yao was already dead when you told me to believe.

  5. I would love to see Lakers-Blazers in the first round plus if the Kings were to win then this would be a tremendous sendoff for them. Go Kings!
  6. I thought it was okay until the pink font.
  7. Well nothing to do until May 17, which is the draft lottery and the Rockets have a 1.8% chance of moving up into the top 3. Hooray! This season was totally not a waste!
  8. Great game, Dragic and Patterson have both played some good games in their three starts. It sucks that we're done for half a year now.
  9. Basically the two teams that can cause mismatches with the Spurs will fight to the death while the Spurs avoid one of them for another round. That matchup would be amazing though.
  10. Whats funny is that the cameras didn't catch Kobe saying it, they caught him mouthing it. People are stupid.
  11. Are you freaking kidding me? Players cuss all the time on the court, how is it Kobe's fault that the cameras were closing in on him after he was obviously fuming?
  12. Press conference earlier today that lasted about 45 minutes. Here's a quick recap from realgm. Looks like Rambis and Flynn are just as good as gone. Minnesota has enough youth, glad to hear that Kahn is going to look into adding some veterans. If the Wolves miss out on Irving and Barnes then trading the pick for a proven player wouldn't be a bad idea.
  13. Aris just announced on their official website that Koke has been released from his contract, and then a facebook message that translates to "good luck in America". No official word from Houston.
  14. Dick Justice just wrote a piece on Adelman, seems like he thinks the team is leaning moving on. Full article is in the link below. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/justice/7518923.html
  15. http://houston.sbnation.com/2011/4/13/2108542/dynamo-transactions-houston-to-sign-spanish-forward-koke-as-dp He's not the biggest name out there but he seems talented and hardworking, not sure if he's worth the DP though.
  16. What you posted about Les makes sense, a few years ago Morey wanted to keep Jeff Van Gundy after the 2007 playoffs but Les wanted to move and ended up making a big splash by signing Adelman. Getting rid of Rick would sort of admitting that the last few years were just a big waste of time especially when you consider how Rick's system has always been at the core. This team is designed to play for Rick Adelman and retaining him would give us our best shot at the playoffs next season, I'm not denying that but I'm still skeptical about whether he's the right coach for a rebuilding team. Like Rick I am frustrated about not knowing exactly where this team is heading. You're right about there being no better replacement but if we end up rebuilding, I wouldn't be opposed (not necessarily saying that he should be let go) if the Rockets looked elsewhere.
  17. Have a good one Cleveland's Finest.
  18. I thought we were making the playoffs?

  19. Kendrick Perkins has been an elite post defender for years but is still fairly young and definitely can continue to improve the way he has the past few years in Boston. Serge Ibaka has become an intimidating blocker in the post this season and since the All-Star break he's averaging a whopping 3 blocks per game, its hard to imagine anyone getting to the rack at ease once he polishes his game up some more especially when you consider that Perkins is right there behind him. If Cole Aldrich could live up to his potential defensively then the Thunder are going to have one hell of a rotation and could easily have one of the strongest defensive front courts in recent memory. Thoughts?
  20. I'm going to watch more NBA game time in one weekend than I have all year.
  21. Looking back at the Attitude Era, I never would have guessed that Edge would win the most championships in WWE/F history.
  22. Attitude Era wrestlers basically will be all gone in 2-3 years. Sad to see Edge go this way but he was retiring sometime next year anyways.
  23. http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2011/04/12/last-tango-with-adelman/ Not the biggest Blinebury fan and its hard for me to even think that the Rockets would disrespect Adelman in such a way. In fact I thought management has always given Rick his due and usually got the players to his liking. Could be a different story behind the cameras though. "refusing to talk about the future" this part I can picture. The Rockets still don't seem set on which course they are heading for future, let alone next season. I'm indifferent about Adelman's situation regardless and Budenholzer was actually at the top of wish list for a future coach.
  24. Thank you for considering me hun. Jordan Hill will be a quality NBA player.
