  1. They should have waited a bit longer to start Tebow. What if his performances are terrible, and the team loses 2 or 3 more games? Where do you go from there? Orton should have been the starter until at least the halfway point, because he gives them a better chance to win. If they're 1-7 or 2-6 at the halfway mark, then I agree Tebow should be put in to see what he offers the franchise and if they should draft a quarterback this year or not. But you cant make a decision like that this early in the season. Carolina did it last year after 2 games, replacing Matt Moore with Jimmy Clausen, and after 2 games, Moore was back into the starting lineup. If Tebow isn't the guy, then what?
  2. I still dont understand how this game got more posts than any other game when it's probably the shittiest game of the week. Just sayin
  3. If I was to pick 1 team to win a game this week, just one team, the Giants would be it
  4. I think the Saints will win this game. It's about time someone other than the defending Super Bowl champions won the season opener, and the Saints look like just the team to do it
  5. I've been waiting for this day since a few minutes after Aaron Rodgers won Super Bowl MVP

  6. Yeah everyone has been asking about the Steelers' prediction. I'm basing it off of the fact that the Steelers missed the playoffs the last 2 times they won the Super Bowl, and history hasn't been good to the teams coming off of a season where they lost the Super Bowl
  7. First to worst seems just as likely, especially with Tavaris Jackson as their QB. I suppose anything's possible since they did add Sidney Rice and Zach Miller, but I wouldn't be surprised if either one of those happen
  8. NFC East Philly 12-4 Dallas 10-6 NY Giants 9-7 Washington 3-13 NFC North Green Bay 13-3 Chicago 9-7 Detroit 8-8 Minnesota 7-9 NFC South Atlanta 11-5 New Orleans 11-5 Tampa Bay 7-9 Carolina 4-12 NFC West St Louis 9-7 Arizona 8-8 San Francisco 7-9 Seattle 5-11 AFC East New England 13-3 NY Jets 10-6 Miami 6-10 Buffalo 5-11 AFC North Baltimore 12-4 Pittsburgh 8-8 Cleveland 6-10 Cincinnati 2-14 AFC South Houston 10-6 Indianapolis 9-7 Jacksonville 8-8 Tennessee 4-12 AFC West San Diego 11-5 Kansas City 8-8 Oakland 6-10 Denver 5-11
  9. So I'm deciding whether to upgrade to an iPhone 3GS or an Android. Which one is better overall? Right now I'm leaning towards the iPhone since I can actually sync it and keep track of all my music, while Android phones can't sync through iTunes. I could still be wrong about which phone is better though
  10. Definitely high. I can still drive while I'm high, in fact, I'm a better driver when I am and I do it all the time. Drunk driving, that's a much different story. I did that once, just down the block, and I'm never doing it again lol. Hardest thing I've done in my life
  11. Anybody remember Game 4 of the WC First Round when the Mavs were on the brink of a 3-1 series lead in the first round in Portland and had a 23 point lead in the 3rd quarter? Remember how they collapsed and lost, while Portland tied the series at 2 games apiece, and everyone thought the Mavs were done? Seems like old news now That's cuz the Mavs recovered to win their next 7 playoff games and are now in the NBA Finals. This isn't the first time it's happened though In 1994, the Rockets led over the Spurs by 20 points with only 10 minutes left in Game 2 of the WC Semifinals, but the Spurs came back to win the game in overtime. However, the Rockets were able to recover and went on to win the NBA Finals In 2002, the Nets led the Celtics by 21 at the start of the fourth quarter, but the Celtics came back to win 94-90. Like the Mavs and the Rockets, however, the Nets recovered to win the series and advance to the NBA Finals What is it with teams that undergo collapses in pivotal games, but then proceed to put it all behind them? People were talking about how Rick Carlisle was under heat and might get fired if they lost the first round series, but now they think he's a great coach. Is there something that happens after a huge loss that motivates the players to win? I don't get it. Everyone was picking Portland to win the series after they evened it up, and then the Mavs just caught fire
  12. Dang thats too bad. Hope everything goes well. Sorry to hear about that
  13. I could see why they would ban cupcakes if they offered them in the lunch menu on a daily basis, but most of the time it's just parents bringing cupcakes for the entire class on their child's birthday, and they usually only have 1 or 2 at most. A cupcake once in a while seems okay to me
  14. Of course, the answer is always 69! Why didn't I think of that?
  15. I bet this is gonna be one of those games that everybody anticipates again, like the first 2 Modern Warfares
  16. Basically this. The Mavs are still very much in this game, they just need to play better defense and give the ball to Dirk more
  17. It makes sense that Parker would think about it like that. The Spurs are facing the same situation the Mavs faced after they were beaten in the Finals and then the first round by the Warriors the next year. They better rebuild the team fast or they're not gonna be contending for a playoff spot next season
  18. I live in the Dallas area too, and they just opened up 2 In-N-Outs about 15 mins away from where I live. I went on the opening day because my friends paid for me. It was a 3 hour wait, but it was worth it that one time. I finally realized how good In-N-Out actually is. It's the freshest burger I've ever eaten in my life Since then, the lines have gone down dramatically. I've been 8 times since it opened almost 2 weeks ago. On Friday night, I went there and the line didn't even extend to the door, it was only a 2 or 3 minute wait tops. It's so much more worth it now that the wait times are 10-15 mins tops, usually on weekends Every time I go there, I always get a 3x4 Animal Style with no tomatoes and Extra Toast on the buns, an order of Fries Well Done, and a Choco-Vanilla Shake. I always save my drink cup as well and bring it with me so I can refill it next time without buying a drink, the place is so busy that they never notice But yes, In-N-Out is the best thing to happen to Texas in quite a while Quick tip: Don't go through the drive thru, you can save at least 30 mins by parking and going in. The drive thru lines are usually much longer because people are so lazy nowadays
  19. Well if you weren't convinced before that Blake Griffin is the GOAT, this commercial definitely did it
  20. Blake Griffin. jkjk Since Kobe is considered top 5 by many for greatest of all time, and I started watching basketball in the late 90s and early 2000s, I'm gonna go with him
  21. Dr. Pepper has 23 flavors, and 3 x 23 is 69, so drinking 3 Dr. Peppers is the equivalent of having sex

    1. NomarFachix

      NomarFachix

      69ing is not sex.
