  1. Lol when I first saw this I thought it said "So I got laid today!" and I was just like "uhmmm ok..." haha
  2. I have an E-Cigarette, I use mine whenever it's possible, but I only like to use it when I'm sober. I don't have a problem with smoking cigs when I'm sober, but when I'm high, I'll usually have like 2 or 3 Newports so that I can go to another level of high. When I'm drunk I have more than that lol
  3. I have 2. A girl I know was killed in a car crash, and a guy that went to my school was also killed in one. Their page is still filled with comments from other people, most of them who have posted on there hundreds of times since they died last year
  4. And we only need 1 more person and we can get this underway!
  5. Well it took almost a month but we only need 2 more people to make it official!
  6. This is a much better game than I was expecting. Kings are only down by 2 heading into the 4th, they've got some good young talent
  7. In other words, when you're building a team do you build off of a strength or do you try to fill the hole that your roster already has? Building off of a strength can create tremendous depth at that position but filling weaknesses can end up being the last pieces to the puzzle An example of building off of a strength would be the Timberwolves. They already had Michael Beasley, the small forward who was the 2nd overall pick in 2008 behind Derrick Rose and came to Minnesota in a trade with Miami. However, they decided to select Derrick Williams with the 2nd overall pick in the 2011 draft, making the small forward an area of strength on the Wolves. They don't have to worry about the position for a long time because they are set there However, sometimes building to a strength leaves other areas to fend for themselves, you could focus on acquiring enough depth at position that you completely lose track of the supporting cast. What I would do is make sure every position is set for the time, as long as its in decent shape then your team should be good for the season. The 2006-07 Celtics had the greatest turnaround in NBA History when they acquired superstars at the shooting guard and power forward positions, something they had lacked during the previous season's 24-58 campaign. During the offseason, they acquired Ray Allen in a draft day trade from Seattle and made a deal for Kevin Garnett. This new supporting cast around Paul Pierce helped the Celtics win 42 more games than the previous year, and after finishing 66-16 in 2007-08, they went on to win the Finals So that's what I would do in this situation. I would try to fill all of my holes for the time and then go after depth. I'll admit though, if the Wolves had that type of depth at every position, they'd be a championship contender no doubt
  8. Kings playing well so far, this crowd is into it
  9. If you havent noticed all the games on NBA TV this week were pretty lame. Its about time we got back to what basketball is all about
  10. Wow this thread is still going! Im kinda sad that the football season is over myself, I woke up the day after the Super Bowl and realized that it was over. It was a sad day
  11. This thread has inspired me to make a video of my shots and post it on here for constructive criticism
  12. This could be the last time that the Kings are on national TV in Sacramento
  13. Finally we're back to real basketball! It seems like its been so long since a real game was on TV
  14. I dont like Stern either, but I'm glad the CP3 trade was vetoed. Too many big market teams are getting star players not gonna lie
  15. Aight we just need 3 more ppl to make this happen officially
  16. Just makes you appreciate Derek Fisher's .4 shot that much more
  17. But what a crazy game, in the end the refs may have saved the Mavs, on AND off the court
  18. Mavs gave the Spurs way too many chances to get back in. They should've closed it out when they were up by 18, but they had every opportunity to put the Spurs away in overtime
  19. Wow this was a crazy game. So many close calls on both sides of the ball I really thought Danny Green got the shot off before the clock, but it was really really close
  20. Carter is doing really well tonight, pretty good performance off the bench
  21. Cant believe this place has been up for 7 years. I've only been here for 3 but it still feels like I just joined
  22. The only decision I disagree with was the jumpball late in the game. Other than that, I didnt think there was too much of a problem with the refs
  23. Haywood has been a monster on defense so far. Now if he could polish up his offensive game...
  24. Does anyone even care that this is on?
  25. Impressive save by the Mavs, that first pass didnt look like one Odom should make and Carter didnt look like he had a clean look at the basket at all, much less possession of the ball. Thats making something out of nothing
