Like when he said Vernon Davis this, Vernon Davis that. So, if Jerry Rice said that Dez Bryant was looking absolutely amazing and looked like he had the best skill-set of any NFL WR, you wouldn't be excited? Or, if for whatever odd reason Romo was compared to a HOF QB, you wouldn't be posting? You would be jizzing pants if that happened. It's pre-season, and not a lot to talk about. Taber Posted August 28, 2010 Report Share Posted August 28, 2010 The Patriots defense was dreadful, and shot themselves in the foot will committing a bunch of penalties on 3rd downs. Sam Bradford looked really good, but a lot of that was probably due to the piss poor defense. Tom Brady and the offense looked superb after they stopped running the ball for the first few drives. This offense is probably more deadly than they were in 2007-2008, especially with Gronkowski and Hernandez being there.The big thing was penalties, if they eliminated those it wouldn't have been that bad, but still not the way we should play. I think our offense is a lot more versatile then it was in past years, lets hope Fred Taylor stays healthy. With a run game and Brady/Moss/Welker/Edelman/Tate/Crumpler/Gronkowski/Hernandez that is just deadly, I can see Brady just picking teams apart.
