GM3: Miami at Philadelphia (MIA 2-0)

Recommended Posts

Sixers need to get Iguodala going if they're going to win this game.

A better idea would be to get him to stop shooting period. But this has been the bane of my existence for the past three seasons or so. This will never happen.

Anyway, it was fun while it lasted.

Sixers allowed 20 offensive rebounds which was the deciding factor of the game IMO. Heat got way too many easy baskets within the paint with those boards. I don't understand why the Sixers weren't forcing LBJ and Wade to shoot jumpshots instead of letting them penetrate and draw fouls constantly or getting their teammates wide open three's. Philly played great the whole game except the 4th when Miami locked down defensively and started executing on offense. They made a late push but just couldn't pull it out. Miami should be able to finish this one out next game.

Hard to watch that fourth quarter after how good Philly played up to that point.

Miami has too much talent that they aren't really being tested.

Also, pleasantly surprised the Philly crowd was so hostile towards the king.

Doug Collins was right. If they don't get the offensive boards, they don't win and this is what happened. Even if the Heat don't have a true center, they still have height and Joel the hustler. Even Wade and LeBron could grab mad offensive boards!
