  1. Thompson did well, as expected...but really, Casspi has surprised me this year, and so has Greene. I wasn't really sure those two would even get to see much time on the court, but they are proving me wrong so far, and both are decent players.
  2. Anyone know why TJ Ford played just nine minutes tonight? I don't see where it says he was injured or anything...but if that's the case, he joins Granger, Murphy, Foster and Hansbrough. :o
  3. He didn't shoot that well (5-12), but Kevin Love almost posted a triple-double tonight... 17 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals In the end, the Wolves just missed too many free throws (61% FT tonight) and they couldn't overcome the bad third quarter they had.
  4. No Pierce, no Garnett, no chance against a mean Suns squad. You have to defend to beat them.
  5. Well, it was obvious that Atlanta wasn't paying attention to ANYTHING in the final minute or so, haha. They are the ones that blew the lead to begin with, which had nothing to do with the shot clock. They really had the game in the bag, in my opinion, but...well, I don't know what got into them.
  6. Lots and lots of angry Hawks fans tonight, man...wow. RealGM is blowing up with people flipping out about what happened with that shot clock. I don't see how the damn thing doesn't reset, and I also don't get how the referees don't stop to think how it expired so quickly. It was very noticeable with me just watching it on TV. Those refs are right there, in the action, with a big shot clock in their face, something they are SUPPOSED to be watching as the Hawks make their way across halfcourt.
  7. Wow, Jennings needs to stop shooting the ball if he's going to throw up less than 39% every game. That's pathetic.
  8. Which is probably why it's a pinched nerve or carpal tunnel. You can pinch a nerve without knowing it for a while, then it starts hurting your leg, or your hands, or anything...just out of the blue. I would be surprised if it's anything other than those two.
  9. LMAO. Back when I was 22 or 23, I ate a Habanero and stood without a drink for three minutes (after swallowing), and it won me $100. Looking back, it was one of the dumbest things I've ever done, got to where I was really dizzy and my chest burned for about 30 minutes after it was over with. The only other time I've ever had one was when I ate a few of those real little ones (the ones you buy in a jar), and they aren't as hot...but the big pepper was a big mistake, and I'll never do that again. Would've been cool to get it on camera, though. Biggest mistake ever. Some guy I met in college burned his throat eating one, and he had to go to the ER for it. He could be lying, though...but his friends were there to talk about it, and I guess he ate a small, dried-up one, which is probably easier. I love hot stuff, but I couldn't imagine downing one of those.
  10. Well, it's Peripheral Neuropathy, but the cause is what's unknown. I doubt it's diabetes. You'd have to be a diabetic for a while before picking up anything like that, meaning longer than a year...and you'd know if you were a diabetic within a month. My dad has a pinched nerve in his neck, and it makes his hands numb. It's not bad enough to have surgery, though (his isn't)...but maybe that's the cause of your pain. Otherwise, if it's not a pinched nerve, carpal tunnel sounds about right. Not to scare you or anything, but in a worst-case scenario, liver and kidney diseases cause it, and so do some heart problems. But then again, you'd probably be feeling much more than just numbness if that were the case.
  11. I used to love NBA Live, from 95 up to 2006. The first time I played 2k was when it first came out, Iverson on the cover...and it was also the last time, up until 2k9. I hated it only because I was too stubborn to care. 2k10 destroys Live. I played Live for about two weeks, the actual game (my friend gave it to me, imagine that), and I ended up giving it to my cousin. When you can annihilate any team with Adam Morrison and Jordan Farmar, and Derek Fisher ends up blocking Kevin Garnett's dunk attempt, you know you're playing the wrong game.
  12. The Wizards haven't played defense since they changed their name from the Bullets, so I can't be surprised by this. Arenas, Jamison, Butler...all three are matadors. Quite frankly, changing the lineup just doesn't seem to be the answer, in my opinion. As I've been saying for over a year now, Washington needs to change the entire roster.
  13. Apparently, Bynum's trashy play as of late is due to a knee problem. Just can't believe it to be true. :o Bynum...a knee problem? :o :o :o
  14. Kobe got hit hard, might have messed up his finger, but he won't come out of the game. Wow, this is pathetic.
  15. Two threes and a turnaround by Bryant, eight consecutive. He's turning it up.
  16. Yeah, Phil Jackson is stupid for even playing him or Morrison, especially when he plays them longer than he does Shannon Brown, a guy who can score AND play defense. Bynum should take a step back and figure out his role in this offense, also. He's not getting the touches he was when Gasol was out, so he's playing lackluster defense, and I hope Kobe busts his balls for it soon.
  17. I guess I'm one of the few that fails to see how the Cowboys' new stadium is a disgrace.
  18. Wow, HUGE mistake not putting JaMarcus Russell in there AGAIN. The NFL sucks. I'll never watch it again.
  19. Sacramento seems to feed off of their home crowd no matter who they play. Their record may not show that they are the best home team in the league, but they make games tough when they are in Arco Arena, win or lose. It reminds me of the Utah Jazz, really...although, at one point a couple years back, they were running a really solid home record against some of the best teams in the NBA.
  20. Not very many good teams will be interested in him, if any at all. New York will be, I'm sure. Maybe Milwaukee. The Kings could bite, and maybe the Rockets can pull Kevin Martin away from them. Golden State could use him. Indiana? Contenders won't want McGrady given the situation he is in with Houston, doesn't matter who's at fault here. Plus, those contenders aren't looking so shabby at the two or three, either...so McGrady would be coming off the bench, and I'm sure they would rather dodge that mess before it develops.
  21. Nah, I wasn't saying you had a problem with the site. They do, and for all the wrong reasons.
