Fair enough. I guess it also depends on the make up of your team and who else is on the roster. Jordan can be nice to protect the basket if he's playing on a bad defensive team.
-
The problem with Fields is he can sometimes give other 2-guards problem with his size at 6'7, but he is generally pretty slow...especially his first step. He's gotten torched over the past two seasons by Ray Allen running off screen's. It was brutal to watch. He just couldn't get there to make any type of difference. When Shumpert was out there, what a difference. Landry Fields has no business being a starting 2-guard in the NBA. Not even on a struggling franchise like Toronto. It's a [expletive]ing sham how overrated he has gotten. He's a nice 7-9th player in the NBA. He can give you some decent minutes in a confined role. But, I'm telling you, because of his surprising showing in the first half of his rookie year, he has been way overrated. People act like he's a quality starter. He's not.

Anyone know if that ESPN magazine is out yet? The one with the Carmelo Anthony story. I wanna pick that shit up!

You'd take Gortat over Jordan? Wow. I'll take Jordan. Although he can be inconsistent, his talent is so much better it's worth the risk. He can be a true game changer

hmm,, that would be an interesting combo....but i think, like guru said, that's what makes this album sick. he doesn't have too many features. i love that especially on a debut album. the interludes and skits are annoying in the middle of songs after you've heard them a few times it's like damn man i gotta skip to the music lol i don't want to hear these dudes talking again. thats my only complaint. but that's why the CD cover says a "short film." Kendrick is literally telling a story.

2012 World Series: Detroit vs. San Francisco
JYD replied to Cobb's topic in Baseball Gameday Discussion
Lol, does anyone care about this? I like watching the Giants play, hopefully they win, but I wonder what ratings this will do nationally. -
Ok, so you specifically pointed to Fields originally, now you're saying players 'like' Fields. Landry Fields is a mediocre (at best) defensive player. He's slow. He is a good player in transition, and he is a good passer for a 2-guard and has decent size. He's a mediocre rebounder for his position, he's a mediocre defensive player, and can not hit FT's or 3 point shots. He has one of the worst looking shots I've ever seen (way too flat). And JR Smith is WAY better than Landry Fields. And I'll take Ronnie Brewer over him too.

Basically agree to be honest, If Obama wins Ohio, it's over. Mitt wins Ohio, it's going to be VERY VERY close. Mitt has to have Ohio, which he is close, but is not leading right now.

Romney gonna Romney #SaysAnythingToGetElected
-
I honestly say it's about 70% chance Obama wins the election, 30% for Romney. It'd be a big upset if Mitt won the election. Romney may win the popular vote, but I just can't see him winning the electoral man. I really can't. If you look at the map, he's not winning all those swing states, so even if he loses just 2 of the 5, he easily loses the election!
-
Romney seemed to agree with virtually every stance of Obama on foreign policy. No need to elect Mitt, I'll stick with the same guy for another four years.
-
You're on one man. I was just reading through this thread. if 59% from the FT line and 25% from 3 pt line from your 2-guard is a player that helps win championships then you know nothing about basketball
-
Chad Johnson is super funny. Never understood how people hate him man.
-
True... Sadly, the average voter who decides who to elect based on sound bytes and attack ad's, doesn't realize that.
-
Supposedly Romney will try to sway the conversation over to the economy in this debate. I think a lot of American's feel the same as you, even though there are some major foreign policy issues facing our nation, and Romney has virtually no answers. Probably. I think it's also a case of voters, such as kingfish, not caring that much about the Libya situation or Foreign Policy in general. All anyone wants to hear about is jobs and the economy.
-
this is awesome
-
I agree, in many aspects Obama has the upper hand on Foreign Policy. The Libya situation is definitely something Romney could've taken advantage of last debate. I'm sure he will this time around.
-
Tonight. October 22. 9 PM EST. The format for the debate will be identical to the first presidential debate and will focus on foreign policy
-
Dude, you have Obama losing every swing state. Romney will not win Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, and North Carolina. He may win 3 out of the 5, but he will not win all five which you have him winning. Obama has a decent lead in Wisc. and Ohio, and if he wins both of them, he wins the election...despite Romney taking VA, FLA, and NC.

Pretty much. The one thing I'll say about MSNBC is that they admit a clear bias. At least in what I've seen. Hell, they run commercials, on their own station, promoting themselves and a liberal agenda. They use that "Lean Forward" slogan, similar to Obama's campaign slogan. If they ADMIT to being biased, I don't have a problem with them on TV. But Fox News slogan is "Fair & Balanced." They are basically tricking millions of people watching who think it's a fair news channel (which a lot of people do...it's supposedly the most watched news network).
-
I actually find CNN to be rather moderate. Fox News obviously has an agenda and bias, just as much as MSNBC does for the other side. I find myself unable to watch Fox without getting frustrated, and watching MSNBC knowing that it, as well, is entirely too one sided. CNN seems to have a nice balance. They'll generally bring in a Conservative analyst and a Liberal analyst and have a real discussion. Fox News, they'll sometimes bring on a liberal, but they won't let them get a word in. Hannity, for example, will simply start to yell over them until the Conservative analyst begins to speak.

Really? I still have only heard snippets...waiting to buy it tomorrow. I've pretty much only heard good things about it. Most are saying it could very well be Hip Hop AOTY. Nitro, curious, what did you think of .section80? I think it's one of the most slept on albums of our generation (past 7-10 years).

This is what I've heard as well. Like iMan said, they signed him for some playoff experience and some insurance since Amar'e looks like he won't be able to stay on the court consistently at this point n his career. I think he'll end up playing like 10 MPG throughout the season.
