You're on one man. I was just reading through this thread. if 59% from the FT line and 25% from 3 pt line from your 2-guard is a player that helps win championships then you know nothing about basketball

Chad Johnson is super funny. Never understood how people hate him man.
-
True... Sadly, the average voter who decides who to elect based on sound bytes and attack ad's, doesn't realize that.

Supposedly Romney will try to sway the conversation over to the economy in this debate. I think a lot of American's feel the same as you, even though there are some major foreign policy issues facing our nation, and Romney has virtually no answers. Probably. I think it's also a case of voters, such as kingfish, not caring that much about the Libya situation or Foreign Policy in general. All anyone wants to hear about is jobs and the economy.

this is awesome
-
I agree, in many aspects Obama has the upper hand on Foreign Policy. The Libya situation is definitely something Romney could've taken advantage of last debate. I'm sure he will this time around.
-
Tonight. October 22. 9 PM EST. The format for the debate will be identical to the first presidential debate and will focus on foreign policy

Dude, you have Obama losing every swing state. Romney will not win Wisconsin, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, and North Carolina. He may win 3 out of the 5, but he will not win all five which you have him winning. Obama has a decent lead in Wisc. and Ohio, and if he wins both of them, he wins the election...despite Romney taking VA, FLA, and NC.

Pretty much. The one thing I'll say about MSNBC is that they admit a clear bias. At least in what I've seen. Hell, they run commercials, on their own station, promoting themselves and a liberal agenda. They use that "Lean Forward" slogan, similar to Obama's campaign slogan. If they ADMIT to being biased, I don't have a problem with them on TV. But Fox News slogan is "Fair & Balanced." They are basically tricking millions of people watching who think it's a fair news channel (which a lot of people do...it's supposedly the most watched news network).
-
I actually find CNN to be rather moderate. Fox News obviously has an agenda and bias, just as much as MSNBC does for the other side. I find myself unable to watch Fox without getting frustrated, and watching MSNBC knowing that it, as well, is entirely too one sided. CNN seems to have a nice balance. They'll generally bring in a Conservative analyst and a Liberal analyst and have a real discussion. Fox News, they'll sometimes bring on a liberal, but they won't let them get a word in. Hannity, for example, will simply start to yell over them until the Conservative analyst begins to speak.

Really? I still have only heard snippets...waiting to buy it tomorrow. I've pretty much only heard good things about it. Most are saying it could very well be Hip Hop AOTY. Nitro, curious, what did you think of .section80? I think it's one of the most slept on albums of our generation (past 7-10 years).
-
This is what I've heard as well. Like iMan said, they signed him for some playoff experience and some insurance since Amar'e looks like he won't be able to stay on the court consistently at this point n his career. I think he'll end up playing like 10 MPG throughout the season.

That blows, man. Already not at full strength and two weeks away from game 1. It just sucks because it's so hard to see if the Knicks can ever get the STAT-Melo combo to work. It's still up in the air IMO, just too many games that both of them are in and out of the lineup.

NBA to limit pregame routines to 90 seconds
JYD replied to Real Deal's topic in General NBA Discussion
Agreed. So many times I'll put on the game and they are still giving hugs and handshakes lol -
lol yeah that list is crazy false

Very interesting stuff on Gallup. Not sure I agree that Romney now holds a 4 point edge, I think it's probably more even, but still nonetheless interesting poll numbers and breakdown. http://www.gallup.com/poll/158048/romney-obama-among-likely-voters.aspx Edit: I think a lot, if not all, those numbers were out before Tuesday's debate which had to better Obama's polling numbers.

If I was Cashman, I'd probably pay 50% of his contract and ship his ass out. Get younger at 3B. Get rid of Swisher, get younger, contact hitter in RF. A guy who can hit 15-20 HRs but who can hit .300. Enough with the power hitters that hit .230-.250. We can live with 1 or 2 of those guys, but you can't build your team around them. I like Gardner off the bench. Don't think he's a starting OF on a WS caliber team.
-
Until Shump is fully ready to go...no way to deny a man of that talent starter minutes. I like Brewer starting for several reasons. One, he's a fairly consistent veteran who will give you good defensive hustle each night. Love him against most NBA 2-guards. Secondly, JR Smith can provide much needed scoring off the bench, which could be a very lackluster part of this team.

LOL. I don't think so. I like him. He's done a pretty good job in this series. Wishful thinking. Really? Consider it done!
-
Oh, that's not bad. I'll probably just do that then. Add it to my debt. Lol
-
just listened to some snippets and this seems to be on some next level shit....i'm talking album of the year? we'll see tho
-
haha. my grandmother, who isn't even that into politics, and actually supported Romney about 2 months ago, said Romney looked scared of Obama last night lol +1 to iMan for research and fact checking. the Romney campaign could use you!

Shiiiit. Part of me wants to DL, but I think I'll hold out and buy this one. Kendrick Lamar's, honestly, been my favorite rapper since he dropped .section80
