  1. If Phil Jackson doesn't want to come back, they could always get this guy: http://sportsrapport.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/micky-arison.jpg Close enough to Phil.
  2. This is a Phil Jackson type of team though. Ready to win right now. But, I just don't see him coming back at this point. Sloan would make perfect sense, but would Jerry want to come in during the beginning of the season after training camp and Pre-Season? I'm assuming he would since there's so many games left.
  3. He shed a tear or two during his last campaign rally in Iowa a few nights ago. He had to wipe them away really quick. I think his quote couldn't be more true: "I ran because your voices had been shut out of our democracy for way too long." —President Obama
  4. Van Gundy isn't coming out of retirement to coach this team. No way after what happened with his brother in ORL with Dwight. D'Antoni would accept this job in a heart beat, but would the Lakers be that stupid to offer it to MDA? Everyone on this site knows I'm a fan of D'Antoni, but not for this Lakers team. Sloan makes sense, or if Phil Jackson wants to come out retirement one more time. How about Brian Shaw, too?
  5. Wow. They must know something I don't. I mean, you give a Coach essentially five games and fire him? I realize they had a terrible Pre-Season, but that is meaningless IMO. That is just definitely unfair IMO. He's by no means a good coach, but it's just really not right to get rid of him after five games.
  6. Lmao Jeb Bush has mexican wife >>> Appeals to minorities.
  7. My Dad was saying they had Nash primarily playing off the ball when he was watching one of the Lakers games a week or two ago before Nash got hurt. Is that true? I really have not watched much of them.
  8. Pretty much this. Sometimes I think Romney wouldn't have made a bad President, but then I don't even know what he truly stands for. If he's the moderate Mitt Romney, I think he'd be a decent President...but I'm afraid he'd be far too right.
  9. This. I think Christie will definitely be interested in running by then. If Hillary wants to run, I'm sure she'd win the primary. I wouldn't oppose her being President, Deval Patrick and Elizabeth Warren would also make terrific candidates.
  10. I've said from day 1 I think Mike Brown is a mediocre Coach at best. I don't think he's a good fit for this L.A. team. And I don't understand the entire 'Princeton Offense' philosophy. But, the team plays with virtually no emotion or care from the little I've seen.
  11. I'm going Chris Paul in just about everything but rebounding. Rondo might be the slightly better defensive player because he has really active and quick hands. But I just would take Paul if I was starting a team. I like his leadership a bit more than Rondo, who can get immature at times. Rondo is a helluva player and I love watching him play. But I think Paul is slightly better in most facets of the game so I'm taking him.
  12. I agree with this... But Bill O'Reilly isn't that bad. It's people like Limbaugh, or Glenn Beck that scare people (moderates, which makes up a ton of the electorate).
  13. Long season. Nets have a long way to go, but by March I think they'll get there and be a top 5 seed in the East easily. I won't start trash talking yet.
  14. Dude, you still don't get what I'm saying! Both are motivated to vote. However, there are MORE (population wise) minorities than Southern Rednecks...so of course it's going to swing Obama's direction. And rightfully so. Their policies and talking points do not appeal to minorities. Blacks vote Democratic no matter if Obama is running or John Kerry.
  15. Wrong again. They are just as motivated to vote...what you're failing to understand is that there are far more minorities than Southern white rednecks. Romney lost Asian-Americans by 50 points. 50 [expletive]ing points. That's pathetic.
  16. Tony Douglas is the WOAT. Sorry Houston fans.
  17. Lol. Still doesn't counter the trend...that the more education level you have, the more likely you voted Obama. It's ok though. I know minorities are always stupid and obviously have no education, and they won the election for Obama.
  18. It hasn't been a lack of leadership, they tried to limit what he could do so he wouldn't win a 2nd term. That simple. When he had a Dem. congress, he passed a lot of future legislation such as health reform or wall st reform (whether you agree w/ it or not is fine, but he did a ton in the first two years). As you like to point out, we don't live in a communist country. he can't just decide he's going to do this and that. he has to work with congress, and for good reason. that's what makes this country what it is. two parties are supposed to come together to solve the nation's problems for the people. not just win elections for themselves. smh
  19. Actually, my point is the people with the highest education level, statistically speaking have gone with the President. He won the postgraduate degree demographic by almost about 16 points. It's the white-working class people like you who been tricked into thinking conservative policies will benefit you. Good luck bro
  20. Me on my Shaliq swag. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9xy95D61h1qz8x31o1_500.gif http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_md3o2mQyvB1qkx2tvo1_500.gif http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mc0mmx2kTA1rxxq3ro1_500.png
  21. Really? Is that why a Harvard Business School poll revealed current students were 65% for President Obama to only 35% for Romney? LOL! And Romney graduated from HBS, and you would think that he would be a model (make a ton of money and be a Presidential Candidate) for many HBS students. Comical #WaitsForRidiculousSkewedResponse
  22. LOL and someone tried to sell him to me as a solid NBA 2-guard.
