  1. lol @ amar'e being a top PF who knows how much he'll even play most of my picks are aligned with everyone else except i think a big year for evan turner in philly and i like thomas robinson for rookie of the year right now
  2. I've seen Obama leading in Ohio and VA but at least a point in each. Definitely have seen most with him leading in Ohio. I've seen most have Romney leading FLA by a point or two. If Obama wins Ohio, he wins the election. Romney can win NC, VA, and FLA...it will most likely become irrelevant. http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/2012/romney-vs-obama-electoral-map This one changes a bit every day...but I think it's been somewhat accurate
  3. Wow.... So I went and got my new drivers license last week in North Carolina. Took the test, and everything. I passed, and they just sent it to me in the mail. My parents licenses are horizontal, while mine is vertical. That signals that I am under 21. But I'll be 21 on Nov 6, and I am not dishing out another 30 bucks so I can get a horizontal one to prove I'm over 21. Places better accept my vertical license...It has my birthday on it lol
  4. absolutely not. okc should have kept him til the end of the year and tried to win this thing this season
  5. best news of the decade for real deal and laker fans. might as well just hand LA the West Conf Champions
  6. that's super good dude i like it a lot. the text could use some work. outside of that, it looks really good!
  7. One day after an MRI revealed Tyson Chandler suffered a bone bruise on his left knee, the New York Knicks center said after practice Friday that he'll "absolutely" play in the team's season opener Thursday against the Brooklyn Nets.
  8. how long on Camby? at first he was only missing the first two preseason games...now he's out for a while? wtf lol Amar'e's loss sucks but at the same time we can still be real good without him. he's a great scorer obviously and i dont doubt he still has that ability but hes very replaceable if you have camby but with no camby or amar'e our frontline is pretty weak especially rebounding wise
  9. Yes, I have bruised my knee before. 2 weeks is plenty of recovery time for a bruised knee dude. It still may be sore but he's very capable of playing.
  10. lol yeah wtf dude. this list is more like 4 inactive, non-relevant fans
  11. Chandler should be back for the first game, shouldn't he? He's being a [expletive]ing [expletive] if it's a bruise and he won't be back by Nov 1
  12. how is shaliq not gonna put me, fish, and iman on the knicks list...FOH
  13. Most illegal immigrants are doing jobs no American workers will do. Working for ridiculously low wages, like Lkr said. Shoveling horse manure on a farm...or picking crops...That's not a huge hinderance on our economy. I do agree we have to secure our borders and give citizens a pathway to legal citizenship. That's obvious, because it's a threat to our national security more importantly than anything else.
  14. With a healthy Shumpert, I think the Knicks are right up there. Great versatility off the bench. -Raymond Felton -JR Smith -Iman Shumpert -Steve Novak -Marcus Camby -Kurt Thomas -Rasheed Wallace -Pablo Prigoni -James White
  15. Colin Powell is excellent. The Republican party used to not always mean knuckle heads like Romny, Ryan, Todd Aiken, and Richard Mourdock. It used to mean moderates. Guys like Powell, and someone like Arlen Specter, they 'got' it. It used to mean getting legislation done that helps the entire country rather than a specific agenda. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=EBzCvfw54bM
  16. I don't really see how Romney wins the election unless he wins every single battleground state, right?
  17. illegals do jobs that you, as a person sitting on a basketball forum typing this, would never do.
  18. lol the thing is that isn't even one of the best songs on the album IMO
  19. yeah if you could PM me the link as well that'd be great. def looking forward to this
  20. wow, lol. JR smith is a better player in every facet of the game besides maybe passing and rebounding. and even that's a debate
  21. Exactly. Sure it's unfair comparing him to Shumpert... but I hear a lot of people saying (not a shot at anyone on this site - just announcers or fans in general) that Fields is a good defensive player. I just don't see where they get that from. Sure, he's not the worst defensive player I've ever seen, but he is not a 'good' defensive 2-guard. He just has some size, that's about it.
