  1. I'm serious though man. I don't understand what these guys want. Pretty much all the guys on the Olympic team are stars, and almost all the stars in the NBA have max deals, which is like roughly 15-20 million per year. What do they expect the country to pay and why is compensation a concern!?
  2. Well, I like JR a lot too, his shooting has been awful but I think his shot selection has been great. I'm still confident he'll start knocking them down more consistently. He also hit some big shots in OT vs. Chicago the other day that went someone unnoticed.
  3. NBA Kemba is not that entertaining. When he was breaking ankles every possession in College, it was different.
  4. That's how the entire 4th quarter was played. I don't recall Baron in the 4th. Davis has his flashes of being good still, which is what makes it so frustrating. He hurt his neck diving for a loose ball in the game AT Chicago, so he was banged up going into the Milwaukee game. When Bibby and Douglas are in it's even worse, especially Douglas. The guy just doesn't have it. Plain and simple. The Knicks are eventually going to go almost exclusively to the Shumpert/Smith/Novak/Melo/Chandler look to finish a lot of games, with Novak and Fields making offensive/defensive subs. Fields was brilliant last night, I thought, and Woodson still elected to go with JR over Fields. Oh, and the officiating was pretty brutal. There were bad calls that went both ways, but I'd say most of the poor calls went the Bucks way.
  5. J.R. Shump and Melo were clutch as [expletive] offensively. Even Novak hit some timely shots and Big FT's. Chandlers defense was incredible. The 2nd unit is a huge concern right now. We get nothing out of these guys right now! Baron Davis is equally as brutal at starting PG. Sweet Jesus bring back Jeremy Lin!!! But, regardless, big win, we'll take it at this point. :D :D :D :D :D
  6. Lame. I don't understand how money makes it enticing. Most of the guys are getting 15-20 million dollars per year that play on the USA olympic team. Should we throw them an extra 1 million? Will that excite them? Lolz.

  8. Boston looks pretty damn good. Very impessive. I never thought they'd get back to the point where they'd look like this with this roster. Shows the coaching job Rivers has done and how hard the big four has played to turn this season around. Hate Boston, but I have to respect that. 17-7 since the All Star Break? And now playing like this @ Miami? Very impressive.
  9. First of all, Melo gets far more touches when Amar'e is out. That's just a fact. Second of all, the spacing is better because Amar'e is another guy who likes to play on the wing and near the paint. I do agree with you that Melo is shooting WAY better from the perimeter, and he is still facing many double's and tough shots.
  10. lol, his joke was funny, i didn't know you were irish lol subway is awful tri state area has so many good sub shops so no need to ever visit a subway
  11. Lin is still far better than Davis at this stage of their careers. Amar'e is the one that puzzles me. Not sure how well he fits with Melo. Starting to look like he doesn't at all considering how well Melo has played in his absence.
  12. I've always been a baseball fan since I was little, but I really grew out of it in High School. I was a good player in little league and for two years on the bigger field in Middle School but had no interest in playing in High School. I've always watched the Yankees on and off throughout the years, but the season is so damn long it's hard for me to maintain interest. Well, I'm back on a baseball binge again...lol. Yankees need a win tonight! Let's go!
  13. Cameron Diaz but you can't go wrong with either. Lol. Carlos Boozer or Amar'e Stoudemire?
  14. Awesome. When is the first playoff game?
  15. The missed FT's were the obvious key. Very true. Haha. Yea duude, the game he had in game 2 I think it was versus Boston in last year's playoffs was insane. This was not his finest Knicks moment, that was. He had like 40/17. Lol.
  16. When motivated we've seen what Odom can do. He'd be great on a team like the Knicks, too, who could use rebounding on their frontline. Regardless, it's a very odd situation he's in right now and the entire way he's gone about it has been so unprofessional.
  17. he's been there for one playoffs and took them to the ECF..please

  19. http://gifsforum.com/images/image/o%20rly/grand/orly_12.jpg In 2011 he was named the NBA Coach of the Year after leading the Bulls to a 62 win season. In 2012, he became the fastest coach in NBA history to earn 100 victories. He also went 15-7 this season without Derrick Rose.
  20. this is a perfect example of a classic ECN thread. the debate goes back and forth over nonsense. 300 million middle aged people with weapons of their choice, against 12 modern military men. 300 versus 12. yes, dead bodies would be in the way. yes, you don't have to reload if you have a shitload of guns. but they have weapons too, and it's only 12 of them. 300 million people is the amount of people in the god damn United States. i take part in it because to me this is just pure comedy.
  21. they play us once. although it is home. i wasn't aware their schedule was that difficult. knicks have a ton of national tv games by the way. 7 of the last 10 are slated to be on national TV, although I'm sure the Milwaukee and Charlotte ones will be changed, lol.
