Guess it's a pessimistic view, or realistic, whichever you prefer, but I don't see that happening. Boston's playing really well and Knicks schedule is brutal. I think the Knicks realistically go 6-4 to finish the season. I don't think that will be enough to take the 4th spot.

spent all day w/ family. so a little late to comment on this. Watched all of this with my Dad though. such an awesome way to spend Easter. what a gritty effort. blew the lead but with the lack of depth it should be expected. second unit easily let the lead fall off. amazing effort to come back but knicks wouldn't of won without rose and deng missing key FT's...shout out to them appreciate it chandler shumpert and melo were the team today. gotta give props to JR for hitting a few big shots in OT though when no one else was getting it to go. novak's shot going in and out was crazy! literally half way down. one of the best games i can remember in recent memory, too. probably my favorite game of the season so far. i don't want 7th place to be honest. bulls-knicks first round would be awesome. would the knicks win? 99% chance no i'd say. but i think it could be five or six fantastic games.

I think Douglas sitting out helped him A LOT. I think that shoulder was giving him major problems early on. You could just tell. Even the past few games wasn't playing real well but you could see him coming on. Not too excited over this win. Magic clearly quit and are a complete joke. Lost a lot of respect for Howard today and tonight. Dude is a C-L-O-W-N.

I don't really see how he couldn't win it. Unless there's a certain amount of GP he needs to qualify... The guy went from being cut and out of the league essentially to probably one of the better PG's in the NBA...

Both are a joke to be honest. Dwight jokes around during losses for me to take him serious. To say I wouldn't want him on my team is kind of foolish, but I much rather have other top players far before him, just because of his personality/attitude. SVG is a bit of a clown though too. I don't know if Harden is a better option than Bosh. Bosh, LeBron and Wade are a more balanced three than KD/RW/JH since all three play guard/perimeter type of games. Wade is definitely better than Westbrook. And we can debate Bosh and Harden all day, but at the end of it I think that's somewhat irrelevant. What's more relevant is, how would OKC fair if you took Durant off the team tomorrow? Same with LeBron and Miami. The MVP isn't about the best player, but rather the most valuable. I think Miami would be a very good team without LeBron for an extended stretch. OKC, I'm not sure how'd they be with turnover-city Westbrook leading the franchise and all their scoring coming from the backcourt.

Playing with Bosh and Wade is nothing like playing with Westbrook and Harden. Come on now. It still easily comes down to LeBron James and Kevin Durant. It's Durant right now IMO. But the final 12-14 games are important, I think. Whoever ends up with a better record probably gets it and fair enough.
