what a wack first period. had some good shots but the sens have had very few chances, but the one's ottawa's gotten have been some terrific chances and i think lundqvist should've made that save

lol red sox u mad

Yeah. And the Haglin incident... I agree...the fact he's a consistent repeat offender he needs a harsh penalty like this before someone gets killed!
-
Good. No place in the game for a hit like that...
-
He was terrific. especially in the3rd period. if he plays like that the Pens are taking the series Flyers goaltender has been awful, he really needs to turn it around for them to close this series out.
-
Can't overreact just yet. we must keep in kind Knicks were 6-1 under Woodson with Melo and Amar'e in the lineup together... tonight was brutal to watch. looked like the old Knicks team that lost 6 in a row last March under MDA.
-
I understand you appreciated his time there. But the way the guy went out is all you need to know. No need to honor him. At least not now... And Mike Piazza is way different than Reyes. He's a guy worth honoring. Not Jose Reyes. JMO I guess.
-
To honor him after he just left months ago is [expletive]ing wack bro. I don't give a [expletive] what you say, it's a marketing plea to try to draw attention to the Mets and sell tickets. Which is sad, because the Mets are doing well this year and people should go for the sake of SUPPORTING the TEAM. Jose Reyes was a good player. He wasn't great. He wasn't a LEGEND. Stop acting like he's [expletive]ing Tom Seaver or something. The Mets never won shit, it was consistent frustration in the Reyes era. He chose not to stay with them. If you want to honor him 10 years down the road when he's washed up or something because he was a good player for your franchise for a decade, I have no problem with that. But to honor him when he's playing in your division (Marlins may not be the biggest rival, still playing in your division though...) in his prime and just walked for more $ (which I don't blame him for....) is crazy to me man.

Why didn't the Yankees keep him?!

Celtics Were Close To Trading Ray Allen To Grizzlies For Mayo
JYD replied to The Regime's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
Yeah true, I'm sure he can't be happy. It must be a distraction. I think the Celts probably should've done it. Under Doc, Mayo may have turned into a superstar, especially playing another year or two with Pierce and Garnett. A part of me says the big three might be better off all going out together. They seem so close, that if you remove one, they may really struggle. -
With the ineffectiveness of Davis, and the solid play recently from Mike Bibby, Should Bibby start? Here's an article from the NY Times. Can't say I disagree...
-
yeah pretty much. if the rangers don't win this series, what a terrible way to end the year!
-
Yes. very honarable type of guy. left to join division rival in PRIME of his career. had no historic moment with the Mets, never won anything, and walked off the field to make sure he won the batting title. lets honor

Stumbled across this. [expletive]ed up, I know, but I laughed. http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1n0brdLFw1r5dd08o1_500.jpg

you can't have it all bro

Awful. [expletive]ing awful loss.

good game for the Knicks. Got cold in the 2nd half, but the intensity was there most of the night. Got off to the great start, especially Melo. Bench without Jeffries and Baron Davis was very limited...but we survived. Just got to win 2 out of the next 4 and we're fine I think.

Chicago's defense is FAR better than Boston's. Last night, Boston was awful defensively. Their perimeter defense was hilarious at times. I was loving it as a Knicks fan. They gave JR and Novak so many wide open looks. The last two times the Knicks played Chicago Novak barely got off a shot from what I remember, and JR Smith's shots were almost all tough...

Amar'e having MRI for possible back injury
JYD replied to NomarFachix's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
lol word lmao amar'e straight hood! -
Surprise Surprise

They should go back. Like Lkr said, many fail coming straight out of high school. But many are in financial need and it will lead to less corruption in college sports. Going to college a year just prolongs the suffering for many of these guys and ends up getting them in trouble. They aren't there to get an education anyway, they probably don't go to class. By the time any officials found out the season's over anyway, lol. The idea they have to go one season or be 19 or whatever is retarded. It should either be at least two seasons, or be right from the NBA. I definitely think guys should be able to go right to the league.

lol mets honoring jose reyes

Thx Frank -

What a game! That was awesome. This series has been great so far. Lundqvist and Boyle simply the difference...just terrific. It amazes me how littel difference there is between 1 vs 8 in hockey as oppose to basketball. I don't claim to be a hockey guru but Ottawa and the Rangers seem to be pretty evenly matched!
