  1. It's going to happen. Never easy to travel cross-country and win. Plus, that's the NBA for you. Many times throughout the long season good teams lose to teams they should definitely beat. Agreed... Agree with this one, too... I don't really think that was something that was "Drawn-Up" you could run that in a pick-up game. The play wasn't difficult. The double came, LeBron recognized that and made the pass. Haslem should hit that shot.
  2. Nah I was just messing with you. I'd say I'm a decent player, but like you said everyone overrates their game I'm sure. I play in a league once a week and try to play at least one other day per week too. I'm never the worst player on the court but I'm never the best. I generally end up being some where in the middle. I play with a few former college players (D-3) but mostly guys that just played in High School that are in their mid 20's or 30's...
  3. yea? i can pretty much guarantee i can beat most of u 1 on 1. unless you're like 6-5 or some shit lmao I play like two or three times per week.
  4. Basketball and Golf are really the only sports I play consistently at this point. Grew up playing all four listed below. I grew up playing a lot of tennis bc my sister's played in College and my Dad played some on minor league-type tours. Basketball - Shooting, easily Football - QB in pick up games I'm pretty good and fairly elusive since I'm small (5'7" 145lbs) Baseball - Fielding...Infield is all I played growing up. I was always an average hitter, really good fielder. Golf - Short game. I'm a 3 handicap, for those who play, it's pretty good, I usually shoot mid to high 70's. Sometimes low 70's. Tennis - Forehand. I have a really good forehand, backhand is OK, my serve is pretty bad. I haven't played in like six months though. Want to get back into it again.
  5. Stupid ^ Wiz and Lil Jon are a totally different genre of hip-hop compared to a Pac or Grandmaster. So, there is no comparison...
  6. Mostly rap. I mean, that's what I mostly listen to anyway, but I find myself unable to listen to DMB, Coldplay, John Mayer, etc. when I'm working out. Fabolous, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z generally are the main ones I listen to.
  7. The Kardashian's will get you one way or another But really, this guy has always been one of the most talented guys in the League. He's still a good player, not sure if it's injuries, some type of thing mentally or whatever, but this has really got to suck.
  8. Very good points. John Wall does play out of control often, as opposed to Rose who seems to always be the one in control... I also think another good one is how guys run off screens. Reggie Miller, Ray Allen were just a few of the greats. Utilizing the screen seems easy; but there's several ways to create more separation and those guys mastered the art of it..
  9. http://espn.go.com/boston/nba/story/_/id/7631850/sources-boston-celtics-aggressively-trying-trade-guard-rajon-rondo " The Boston Celtics are aggressively trying to trade Rajon Rondo, their fourth-leading scorer and one of the NBA's best point guards, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard. " Where could you guys see him ending up? Do you think he'd be the same player even without great players around him (3 HOF in BOS)
  10. Yeah, definitely an encouraging outing. He also didn't stand and hold the ball too long. He's going to do his iso on the wing from time to time, but that's fine. He can't stop the ball from moving and just stand there though. And he didn't do that at all in the 2nd half. Made quick decisions...
  11. I think Harden would step up and score 25 ppg for them. This dude is a serious talent. Just need more basketballs in OKC!!!!
  12. Chris Rock on Twitter: "This year Black History month is 29 days thank you President Obama" Lmao, Chris Rock that dude
  13. Agreed. First half was a nightmare, but outscored CLE 71-42 in the 2nd half... Baron was terrific, really everyone was with the exception of Amar'e but he wasn't awful by any means. Although the bench came in and built on the lead, the starters in the beginning of the 3rd period ramped up the energy and got them back into the game (down 12 at half) and then the bench came in and built upon that. Great team win & looking forward to Sunday when they take on Boston.
  14. lol. figured you would not read. i put it out there though because i think it's provides a sensible reasoning behind my thoughts on AA. i can see why people would be against it; and I think flash makes a good point it may not be needed soon. but there were some interesting statistics, stories and excerpts from several authors and articles i read while typing it up, which is why i encouraged you to read lol
  15. This year - Kobe. RD summed it up. Horrible bench, mediocre PG play, the Lakers would be doomed without Kobe. I think They'd be a .500 team at best without Bryant. Bryant still gives them a chance to be one of the West's top teams. They'd be fighting for the last playoff spot without him IMO.
  16. I actually wrote an entire five page essay on this a few semesters ago, my Freshman year of College actually. I think it's a fairly interesting essay if you care to take the time to read you'll get my view. I'm sure most won't (and it's lengthy and quite a bit stretched out...but I figured I'd throw it out there for ya'll to critique me )
  17. I think it'd be great if they had that requirement. It'd be much much better for diverse fans all around the World. Are we likely to see that be required in the future? No. Would it be an excellent addition by David Stern? Absolutely.

    Hmm..This is kinda sick though...
  19. Basically. Sometimes he can hit some jumpers and run the floor though. As far as actually distributing, definitely does not seem to be his game...
  20. Gaines isn't bad in spurts...but Farmar is definitely the better player on a consistent basis. Every now and then I watch Gaines and I'm like wow, this guy is good as hell...then other times, like you said, it's a wreck lol
  21. Nice win for NJ. Thought they played well. Lopez is a really damn good scorer. The Nets are coming along. Man, if they were able to get Dwight, they have some better pieces than I originally thought. I like the way MarShon Brooks is coming along, as well as Morrow, Humphries, and now Gerald Green has so much upside also.
  22. Hmmm. In my opinion, that doesn't make them better than the team now... I think Boston needs to get younger in general - the Allen, Pierce, Garnett trio will no longer get them to the Finals. I can't see them getting past MIA, CHI, and ORL...and that's just in the East.
