Ricky says he'll stay overeas for two years
EastCoastNiner replied to xx.'s topic in Minnesota Timberwolves Team Forum
I'm not surprised. It's a typical European [expletive]. -
I'll probably make my lists later, but Dustin Pedroia should not make this team, but Tim Wakefield should. Also, I have no clue how Jonathan Papelbon only has 2 blown saves this season. He has been very hard to watch, and struggles to have a clean inning. However, I would put Jason Bay, Kevin Youkilis, and Tim Wakefield on my ballot.

It's funny that a lot of you guys are saying this. I have always said that A-Rod got a LOTTTT bigger since he was a Seattle Mariner, and people would say that I have no clue what I am talking about, and that he didn't grow much at all. I really hope Ken Griffey Jr. didn't use steroids though. Someone made a good point on another forum the other day, and the problem with this list is not the lack of "star" players, but the lack of "fringe" players on this list.

Albert Pujols - Greatest Player in Baseball at the moment?
EastCoastNiner replied to KurbyFX's topic in Baseball Forum
He attended a JUCO college that many coaches call a "Steroid Factory", and I would not be the least surprised if he used them. -
It's looking more and more like Phil Kessel is going to be traded, and the most rumored destination is Totonto. It will be a Phil Kessel For: Thomas Kaberle type deal. The Bruins just re-signed Mark Recchi(RW) to a 1 year/1mil deal, which is an absolute bargain, but it gives the Boston Bruins a log jam at RW, meaning that the odds of Phil Kessel being traded are even more likely now. I do NOT want to see Phil Kessel leave, but I'm not sure what kind of money he is looking for.

HUGE BLOCKBUSTER RUMOR (BOSH, AMARE, HEDO)
EastCoastNiner replied to A.K.'s topic in Orlando Magic Team Forum
If you guys think the Orlando Magic will win 72+ games if they get Chris Bosh, you are crazy. - Jameer Nelson will not be an "All-Star" next year, and had his best statistical season this year, and it wasn't even that impressive. - D12 will never develop an offensive game, and can't do [expletive] when he faces "Centers" that can match his strength. -
This is a dumb thread.

Dalembert for Mcgrady

IT'S AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE! IT SAYS, "QUOTE"!! -
Nope. I just saw those "gifs" on "HFboards" when there were reactions to that trade, and I thought they were pretty damn funny.

The Rangers just traded for Marian Gaborik. At least Milan Lucic gets to beat the [expletive] out of Mike Komisarik again this year. . Also, you are forgetting Phil Kessel on the list. He is an RFA.

Here are a few responses I saw today to the news that the Montreal Canadiens signed him: http://i40.tinypic.com/9bheg1.gif http://i42.tinypic.com/23h2ezk.jpg http://blogs.pe.com/prosports/29awmj4.jpg

Ummm, you can say that Sidney Crosby has a better PPG ration, but Alexander Ovechkin has more points in 3/4 seasons. Also, I read some statistic that says PP v.s. PK time, Sidney Crosby plays the 2nd least PK time in comparison to the time he spends on the PP, getting all of his secondary assists. Also, Alexander Ovechkin is a more feared player than Sidney Crosby. Alex Ovechkin, Exgeni Malkin, and Sidney Crosby are very close in talent, and you can make a strong argument for any of them.

Athlete With The Most Trade Value

He had the best 2007-2008 season out of all of the PF's in the NBA I will concede that Tim Duncan was the best PF in the NBA then(even though Amare Stoudemire had played better), but no one was as dominant as Amare Stoudemire that season. -

EastCoastNiner replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Other Sports Discussion
Before last season, yes, he was the best PF in the NBA. -
I think the contract is too long, and the Chicago Blackhawks are in trouble with Free-Agency next off-season. They will be stuck with Marian Hossa's contract until he is 42 years old..... However, the contract is probably front-loaded to the max. The Boston Bruins better re-sign Phil Kessel.

Nope, I PM myself links to sites that I have been to and can't remember, "Sim League" related material, and other stuff. I'm sorry I'm not like you where you would only PM yourself if you had a new Pokemon code or something.

Athlete With The Most Trade Value
EastCoastNiner replied to EastCoastNiner's topic in Other Sports Discussion
The Patriots didn't shop him, so get your facts straight. D12 can't do jack [expletive] against any Center that is near his strength. Kenrick Perkins made him look pedestrian. -
Danny Heatley was going to be traded to the Edmonton Oilers, but he refused to waive his "No Trade Clause". Only a few more minutes until Free-Agency.

I have no doubts that Nomar Garciapara is a juicer.
-
Prime- T-Mac Now- VC Career- T-Mac without a doubt. Vince Carter is extremely one dimensional, and is one of the players that basketball coaches will use as an example of a player not to aspire to be like. He plays no defense at all.

D12 would not command as much as Tom Brady or many MLB and NHL players. He's extremely over-rated as we all saw this post-season. -
Also, Sidney Crosby gets a [expletive] load of "Secondary Assists" and gets a lot of his points of the PP.
-
I'm not going to respond to that, but if you need more detailed opinions, go to "HFBoards". Take it for what it's worth(probably not too much), but Sidney Crosby ranks third in the latest poll there.
