I'd understand if this was a competitive team and there just weren't minutes for him, but this is a terrible team and a lost season, so I'd just give the kids a chance. But admittedly, the NBA is not my strong suit and I am not totally sure about how this stuff is usually handled, so I guess it's not a huge deal.

This is one of the things about professional sports that drives me insane. Really, who cares if he was laughing? He was probably told a funny joke, he's human, get over it. Actually I should answer my own question, because there are insane fans out there who do care. I know the writer will defend himself by saying he was "only doing his job", which I suppose he was, but it's still a douchey question and it shouldn't matter (although to some people it unfortunately does). But with that said, Anderson could have handled the question better, as annoying as it was. He'd look a lot better.

Couple moves for the Cardinals today. Trade Blake Hawksworth to the Dodgers for Ryan Theriot. Also sign Brian Tallet. Maybe it's just me, but Ryan Theriot seems like the ultimate Tony LaRussa player. Not a surprise at all.

A lot of guys are saying that the media is overblowing the D-Jax part. Most are saying that Andy was pissed off, but it was directed at everybody. He might have singled out DeSean, but he singled out a bunch of other guys too. Only reason DeSean's name is attached to this is because he didn't man up afterwards and refused to talk to the media.

Just goes to show what is really "important" these days. Pretty sad, eh?

I understand. Just saying that when Peter King states something as fact, he is usually right. He wouldn't put his reputation on the line over some questionable sources. He's been in this business long enough to know what he is doing. But you are right, anything can happen.

So, I take the subway in Philadelphia to school every day. Today I got off at the stop for my school, and since I was already late for class I kind of rushed out. Heard some sort of commotion on the platform as I ran up the stairs to get to the street, but since I was running late I didn't put much thought into it. Only had one class today, so 50 minutes later when it ended and I went back to the station, there was crime scene tape blocking all of the entrances, as well as fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances all up and down the block. Got a news alert on my phone a few minutes later that somebody had jumped in front of a train and killed himself. If I was not in such a hurry I would have seen this happen. I am sure this happens somewhat regularly in big cities, but in my two years of riding the subway every day, this is the first time I've encountered something like this. Well, you're right that this probably isn't a big deal, but it is very strange. Everybody who saw this said they had never seen Andy this upset. The anger seemed to carry over into his press conference too. In 11 years of watching boring Andy Reid press conferences, I have never seen him as pissed off as he was last night.
