Not to be a downer here because the discussion has been fantastic but I can't help but feel that a large part of it is due to the free League Pass preview. This same thing happened last year and once the preview was gone, overall gameday discussion significantly dropped. Maybe I'm wrong because our fanbase has grown since then. Anyways lets make it different this year guys, keep this momentum going throughout the season.

Rockets may reevaluate Yao's 24 minute limit rule in December
Dash replied to Dash's topic in Houston Rockets Team Forum
28 would be good enough for me, 1 more minute per quarter. -
Per Morey on the radio this morning. Save us Lowry.

Melo: "It's a Time for Change"
Dash replied to Built Ford Tough's topic in Denver Nuggets Team Forum
The Nuggets beat a very good Jazz team yesterday, if Denver can keep a hot streak going for the next few weeks then I can easily see this going down to the trade deadline. By then if the Nuggets are still in the top 3 or 4 spots in the West, I wouldn't be all that surprised if they opt to keep Melo for the rest of the season much like Toronto did with Bosh. However, if the Nuggets crash in the second half of the season like the Raptors did then they are in deep, deep trouble. -
The Celtics are back to the old Celtics of last season, they keep turning it on and off whenever they want.
-
I can't believe Morey traded a top 5 defensive small forward and expected old man Battier to cover for Brooks and Martin, the worst defensive backcourt I've ever seen.
-
... ... I just don't know what to say anymore.
-
I blame Jared Jeffries.
-
Chuck you've had a great game but please its time for you to gtfo.
-
Curry is killing us.
-
Crazy number but this Houston team is literally built to get to the charity line.
-
Was that your reply to my post or Brooks blowing another defensive assignment?
-
Do you miss Ariza yet?
-
Battier is a shell of his former self but that is still an impressive feat by Ellis. Curry and Lee haven't had bad games either, Warriors fans have a lot to be excited for.
-
Brooks Martin Scola Hayes That lineup is so bad defensively that Battier needs to be in the game at all times. Chuck is good when he's working out in the high post but he's useless under the rim.
-
I want to say that the reason for his poor defense has just been Scola being exhausted from the World Championship, but you're right his head is just not into it on the defensive end. I don't know what is up but Rick needs to get through to him and get him committed on both ends of the floor.

I think him benching Love this game and last season has a lot to do with that. Love doesn't seem to fit the triangle much but the same can be said for 90% of the Timberwolves. Kahn and Rambis have to be one of the worst gm-coach combos in the league, they just don't compliment each other well but to be fair Luke/Wes don't seem to be too bad in it.
-
Scola playing a nice game so far, 13 points and 7 rebounds. We're going to need more of that from him especially during games Yao is out.
-
Our defense has been atrocious. 23 points for Ellis halfway through the 2nd quarter is just...ugh.
-
Ariza had a solid first half but after that his shot just wasn't going AT ALL. He needs to find his stroke again like he had to do with Houston, but this time he needs to find it sooner or else the Hornets' playoff chances won't be looking so hot.
-
Loved what I saw from Beasley, he couldn't get a few shots to go but the effort was there and he looked happy to out on the court. Good overall game, hope to see him improve as the season goes along. He also played Kevin Love for 23 minutes. Rambis doesn't seem like a bad coach but his substitutions are god awful.

Its not just you, I've been having the same problem.

I know Kobe is hurt and Bynum is out but I'm still very excited for this game. A win here for Houston would send a message to the rest of the NBA that we are not meant to be taken lightly.
